Why is it important to your provider?
By submitting this survey you can help your provider improve their service to you and other patients.Your rating and comments are an easy way to communicate with your provider your satisfaction or suggestions which he/she may not otherwise receive.
Patient surveys are effective in identifying areas that are weak and reinforcing areas that are strong within the practice. They also allow an organization to benchmark internally and externally, set service standards for healthcare providers, and promote standards of quality patient care among practice employees.
For a patient satisfaction survey to be effective, the practice management has created an environment that is open to quality improvement. All staff members are encouraged to be a part of the creation of the satisfaction survey. Employees are educated about the patient satisfaction survey process, the manner in which it should be administered, and its benefits. Management and employees are prepared to receive both negative and positive feedback. Low scores will be used to create improvement projects and high scores will reinforce successful projects.
How does this improve future experiences?
Your survey results will be shared with your provider. AppointMaster sends the results of your
survey to your provider practice so they can review and summarize your answers and draw
conclusions from your comments. Your name will only appear if you agree to do so.
You can always select to keep your survey anonymous. This means that your provider will NOT see
your name or any data that could link your comments and results to you.
Your provider will be able to review an aggregate of the surveys we send and also the detail of a
particular survey if you accept not be anonymous. Some of our customers may elect to publish some
of the comments on their web site. These ratings may also be generalized and published as practice
rankings on the Internet. This helps other patients to appreciate and choose a particular provider
or practice by reading some other patient comments and reviews about a particular provider.
Your name will not be published. If you elect to stay anonymous, your comments will then
be published under "Anonymous". Finally, if you elect Not to share your comments, only
the practice will see your comments and they will never be published or used online otherwise.
To do so, simply go to your patient portal accessible from you provider web site and select
"Do not share my surveys comments" in your personal profile or simply call your provider's
office so they can do it for you.
