It s always a pleasure to see Dr. Caruso and staff. Whether it s yearly well checks, health issues that arise or boarding, I have complete confidence in the care my girls receive.

Me and Luger s fav Doctor is Seth! Luger is sooo happy Dr. Seth took care of him and made his winky feel better after prescribing him c/d food and telling me the best kind to get! I love the idea that they have an adoption program there and take care of animals and help them find homes! I would be the cat lady if my Luger would let me have more kitties but he hates others so I am a cat lady w/ one cat! Thank you and I highly recommend River Trail to anybody who asks!!

I have been following Dr. DC Smith ever since I first heard of him. Now that he’s at RiverTrail, that’s where I take my dogs. I have been completely satisfied with any of the vets I have seen there. The care and personal attention they give my beloved dogs is all I could ask for.

We love this place for our pets!!! We are confident that our pets (and everyone else’s too), are taken care of with great care. I’m thankful that I can have all our pet needs here, from the vaccinations to lodging, which makes this so convenient! The staff is Wonderful!!!

The only comment I would make is when I have a 10AM appt and don t receive my dog till usually after 3pm and sometimes even later is irritating!

I wonder how the average citizen who is not as financially sound as I am can afford the prices for services.

Only thing I will complain about is when you walk in the smell of animal urine is strong every time I have gone to the riverside location. Other than that it s been a great experience.

Dr. Robert’s is great. I wish I had a Md for humans as awesome as he is. I can’t express how genuine and compassionate he is with our girls. He treats them just like they are his, and the level of confidence we have in his care is unsurpassed. We have been with River Trails Animal since they opened and once we got to meet him, there was no one close. For over a decade, he’s take Kim care of our beloved pets. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about this kind man. This company is a great organization and they employ wonderful caring people.

1. I have a dog aggressive 105lb German shepherd and I try to keep him away from others. When I arrived to drop him off for the best care plan, no other dogs were inside. However there was a pit bull outside, whose owners were keeping her separated. Even though I was the only one in there, the desk staff was busy on the phone or doing whatever they do. It would have been nice if I could have gone into a room as we waited. Another dog did come inside and my dog was trying to behave. A vet tech just happened to come out and she could see my dog was having issues trying to keep calm and she quickly ushered us into a room. A great job by her!! 2. I was not told when I picked up my dog that a fecal sample was not obtained; however, I was told on the phone that if I couldn’t bring one with me, they could get one. 3. For leaving my dog there all day, and paying $249 when we all know Southern Ag can do all the vaccines for at least half that, a fecal sample should have been obtained. 4. When I got the print out with medical history, it used to say at the top all the vaccines and when they were last taken and when they are due under the reminders. This time it only showed Bordetella being done today and due date next year, even though lepto and dhhp were also done that same today and even though the rabies is still current neither of those were listed under the reminders. I emailed Rivertrail and still haven’t heard back from that. Honestly, I’m only going there because of Dr Meredith and Dr Caruso, their caring and ability to diagnose. I think the prices have gotten out of hand, the customer service at the desk is so-so (you used to have the same people who knew you and your dogs, but seems like it’s someone new every time), and the way the ‘best care’ plan is pushed is getting ridiculous.
