I had a great experience the whole time I was there other than being worried about Mama Cat. And I loved that they were so helpful going over my questions, even if I asked them twice (was a lot to process while being worried) and didn t make me feel stupid for it.

I have generally been really happy with Healthy Pet, but I do wish staff could make an effort to use more explicitly unscented products. I am not physiologically sensitive to scents like some people, but every time I walk in I have to brace myself for the blast of cleaner smell and then the blast of scents from candles, etc. If I am having a difficult day healthwise it makes it even harder for me to deal with.

Not sure if can control this but the amount of ice in the parking lot with a dog just coming out of surgery on her foot under effects of sedation, she slipped on the ice and caused her a lot of anxiety. Especially since her two back legs still also suffer from acl surgeries. Perhaps better ice clean up to prevent this and possible further injury.

Very nice people.

Everyone was great. They spent more time with me than they needed to, but didn’t seem to mind. I was very impressed by the whole facility. Staff were knowledgeable. Our case wasn’t typical but I was comfortable leaving knowing my bunny was healthy. I felt good that they knew my bunny’s name as I walked in the door. I did say to myself “this doesn’t smell like a vet office.” I didn’t like the waiting area though, It was odd and secluded.

The vet tech was only able to trim the back paws of our dog, but we did pay the full price. We’ve never had trouble with her nails before, but the tech was going very slowly compared to our dogs previous experiences and she got squirmy/frustrated and didn’t behave very well. I also felt that at our previous appointment the vet and vet tech were very nervous around our large dog—nearly jumpy (they didn’t get down and greet her, or verbally praise her and pet her to get acquainted ;they solely relied on treats). Just hoping our next vet/tech are a little more confident with large/young dogs if possible! I know that’s a challenge, thank you for the consideration!
