I answered n/a for three questions as, with covid, you can t come into the office so I spent no time with anyone (no fault of yours). I m sure the facilities were clean as they always were before. The bill was pretty straight forward so I didn t need any explanations. You guys are so nice however...especially Andrea who is so so sweet and always takes the time to ask how Lou is...she s great!!

Had to stand outside in freezing cold 15 minutes until ride came that was due 2:30 pm and then my ride came. I have a spinal injury and incontinence. No available bath room to use or chair or outside shelter for those without cars to sit warmly in. Would be nice to consider clients with pets who are not wealthy due to disabilities who still are trying to provide for their pets! A sliding scale fee also welcomed or at least a discount. I live on $900 a month.

My family have been going to Colonie Animal Hospital for years. For over 40 years we have gone there and our fur babies have received the best of care. Wonderful doctors and staff. Thank you for all for the great care you give our babies.

My main concern anytime I bring a pet into the vet is how much will it cost? I never can even predict and it can be an issue because I don t have limitless funds. I would like to suggest the following ideas: 1) have a price list on your website so that clients can have a ballpark idea of how much an appointment will cost 2) give online access to past invoices for clients, again to give an idea as to how much an appointment will cost. 3) When you confirm an appointment, give a basic estimate of costs that the client will incur based on the things that are planned for (exam, routine vaccines, meds, etc).

Was not able to go inside because of Covid ,even thou I am fully vaccinated, The Vet would not reply to our Questions,

Since this was my first visit with my dog, it would have been nice to meet the Doctor and see the hospital. I do understand COVID restrictions but I am vaccinated. Hopefully, soon you will open up. Thank you.

My last appointment was a vet tech appointment for nail & fur between toes to be clipped. Mothra was also to be vaccinated for bordatella,when I made the appointment, I would have thought that I should have been informed that CAH was not boarding ! Only when I called that following Wednesday,was I informed of that. I would not have had her vaccinated if I had known this! Mothra was highly unhappy being handled by a tech she didn t know, it took 3 attempts, finally Jason came and she reluctantly went on in. Not the new techs fault, but, I believe the staff knows her quirkiness enough, to not send out someone she didn t know or that they weren t aware of her behavior. All in all, I should have been made aware that there was no boarding at this time.No need for it, as I would or will not trust her care to someplace or someone she doesn t know. It’s time to let patients into the waiting room! It’s cold in your car and running the car to stay warm is not environmentally friendly. Why are you still making people sit in their cars?

There will be a need to see the Vet on the same day or next when dogs become sick unexpectedly. A separate charge of $97 is unwarranted. If the situation happens to us humans my primary care doc won’t charge me a separate amount for same day appointment

I could not answer the above question because I Wasn t allowed in.I Also my cat was very upset and I feel the appointment would have gone more smoothly for her and the Dr. if I could have been inside with her. I understand the protocols are for safety during the pandemic. Just wanted to comment

The staff is wonderful with both my dogs. Thank you for everything you all do!

We had a different doctor than we made the appointment with. That was a surprise. We were surprised to be charged for medicine we didn’t request. We are disappointed that boarding has been discontinued. It was a valued service. We have yet to be contacted about lab results or scheduling surgery. Overall we are satisfied for many years and grateful for consistent care.

I have been going there for over 30 years. I know and trust the staff.

Did a great job on Lucky’s nails. Very fast an efficient!

Customer service is very important. In these trying times it is not always easy to be friendly and nice. I know new staff and training can be a challenge. On occasion over the phone I have found new staff can be difficult. Thank you.
