I had to sit in the car and wait for someone to come get my dog. It was not a long wait, but I cannot comment on the facility or billing as I just gave my credit card over the phone. Looking forward to getting back to normal and being able to enter the facility.

Only one star for cleanliness because we re not allowed in with our pet.

You need to let parents in with their fur babies or you need to think of a better system to allow for in-person care it s very hard sending off your pet and not being able to be with them especially when they ve had a rough time my dog is a mill dog and didn t know love before me and he s very afraid and although the care was fine the encounter was not what I would have liked.

The staff of always so friendly! I have dogs that get anxiety at appointments but the staff are also so understanding.

I like waiting in the car and getting info over the phone. The vet shares a lot of information so that I don’t miss the in person. It is easier than waiting with my excited dog in the waiting room!

When calling the morning of my visit, we had a small emergency and we’re running 5-10 minutes behind. We called to let them know we were running behind and the receptionist was rude and told us that we should have planned accordingly and tried to get there for 9am. If we were ten minutes late we would have to reschedule our visit. The visit was because my dog was having very bad pain in her ear. While the doctor and staff that helped us were professional, helpful, and friendly, the woman who answered the phone really made us considering just canceling all together and finding a new veterinarian to see our dog.

Colonie Animal Hospital is always very accommodating with my pets. Staff is always very caring and helpful.

Cannot comment on facility cleanliness, have to take your word for it from outside. Staff a bit what seemed agitated and not as friendly as usual. Charged for ear drops I told you that I already had but not a big deal, I will use them. Entertaining a new vet clinic in the very near future as I have older dog who will need final care at some point soon and a cold atmosphere will not suffice for her. Although I hope for the best where that s concerned.

I would have rather gone in the office with my pet. Well maybe next year.

While it s difficult not to go in and be present at the visit I think communication is handled great !! . My only concern is the difficulty in getting an appointment faster than 3 weeks when you call . I am hopeful that will change soon .

My cat had become acutely ill and I do believe she ultimately received an appropriate diagnosis and treatment. However attempting to schedule an appointment was close to impossible causing delays. During my initial call I was told to call the next morning or go to an emergency animal hospital. When I called the next morning I was told my cat would not be seen and needed to go to the emergency hospital. My cat spent the entire day at the emergency hospital. Ultimately she was seen at Colonie Animal Hospital and received a much better exam and more thorough testing. My recommendation would be to provide emergency appointments to your established patients. Thank you!
