All the Staff is wonderful courteous and professional

I normally am extremely pleased with CAH. However I noticed an error on Cleo’s discharge paper from her appointment. I called the office as soon as I got home. Although the receptionist was cordial I had to explain myself 3x regarding the error. She put me on hold came back and said to give Cleo the same dosage, not to increase it, and give 2x a day instead of one. Cleo has been getting meds 1x a day not 2x as the paperwork stated. In my opinion the receptionist did not make me feel 100% comfortable with her explanation. I called back Sunday left a message regarding the above, asked to please have someone call or text me on Monday to confirm. NO ONE has contacted me. I am very upset and disturbed over the lack of caring and reaching out to me to confirm the information I needed. I have been a very good client for years and I don’t know what has happened but calls are not returned, meds that were called in not ordered, and the courtesy of assuring a client seems to be forgotten I know these times are difficult, I hate not being able to come in and speak with the doctor. I believe that is why things fall through the cracks Please have someone call me regarding Cleo’s medication. Thank you

I was worried about my dog going in alone but communication was excellent ! I was surprised how comfortable I felt with the outcome when we left . As always getting the nails done during the visit has been great

I did a virtual visit from my car so I am unaware of the condition of the office facilities. I was happy with the care of the tech abd the info from the vet.

Our service was excellent. The tech greeted us promptly, and took our dog to receive his inoculation. He answered any questions that we had.

Minimal wait times. Veterinarian and technicians were very helpful and answered all questions. I have been a client for approximately 30 years and trust my pets to your care.

I called 20 minutes before appt to ask about Covid requirements (drive up procedure) and asked at that time if appts were running on time since my cat gets stressed in the carrier. “Yes”. I got there and somehow in those 20 minutes they got 20 minutes behind. I would have appreciated honesty.

Didn’t get billed We got a heart worm test for our dog. We were told 8 minutes for results We waited 40 minutes then called and were placed on hold for 30 minutes We had somewhere to be so we left Nobody ever called to let us know the results A timely follow up would be appreciated

Being an essential health care worker I totally understand what you re dealing with right now however even parents get the going with their children and it s very disturbing to not be able to be with my animal you have the one exam room with an exit door and a big glass window seems to me there be a way to allow patience to be able to view what you re doing with their animal and talk to you on their phones right there not take the animal in or out but even the door could be open with a screen door on it and then talking would be easier I get there s a risk believe me my husband and I both work for a hospital however the mentality that it s only an animal is a little hard because my rescue dog has lots of issues and would do much better with me there you wouldn t have a child go without their parent so I wish you would rethink the animal situation but I do appreciate that you re staying open and making the best with what you have to deal with it s just very frustrating

I cannot express enough on how well you handled our cats appointment during covid 19. Coming to my car to pickup and return our pets. The vet checking with us on the phone to address all our concerns and then again to confirm the results of the completed exams. So sufficient and appreciated.??

You have clipped my dog s nails numerous times. This time I was told you couldn t do it despite that being the main reason I made an appointment. Tech suggested drugging her. I suggest getting a better tech that can handle dogs

the doctors and staff at Colonie Animal Hospital always do their best to provide the best possible health care for our pets. they are kind and concerned and realize that our pets are like family members to us. I hold the entire staff in high regard and appreciate their prompt quality attention to our needs.
