I have been with Colonie Animal Hospital since the early 80s. At that time they were the only hospital that would take a cat of mine I had serious urinary tract problems. That was 11 p.m. on a Sunday night. I ve been with them ever since, they always been upfront with me about the animals health and what to expect in the future. I always been very happy with their suggestions when a problem arose,, the staff always look out what was best for the animal and the Animals owner.

I waited 1 hour for an appointment and left. My pet was not seen. I called to inform staff I arrived and was told I was early. I arrived 2:40pm for a verified 3pm meeting. I was told the appointment was actually 3:20pm and appointments are really 40 minutes. At 3:40pm, my pet was still not removed from my car for his appointment. This was the worse experience I have had at a vet.

I can not express the empathy Dr Kinne and Andrea have had toward me and my best pal Lily. She has been quite sick and they have been helpful every step of the way. Thank you so very much!!

I just have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to the Colonie Animal Hospital team for still providing amazing services to our beloved animals during this rough time with COVID-19. They set up amazing protocol to ensure no more than 1 person was in their waiting room and they treated all their patients with the same love and care they always have. Thank you for still being there for our pets. Dusty and I appreciate it so much.

The staff is always amazing. Doctor Kinney made Dancer who is generally skittish calm, and assessed her easily. Here, two days later she is doing well, back on feeding well, an energy level high. Many thanks to all.

It would be helpful to know how much a test or appointment is going to cost before checking out. The only time I have known how much a test/procedure will cost ahead of time was when it was offhandedly mentioned at the reception desk.

Best Veterinary office around. Everyone more than helpful and pleasant.
