Dr. Clemens always takes extra time to explain things in a clear and concise way, and I always feel very valued when I m there. My dogs are my children and there is nowhere I d rather take them than to Auburn Vet to see Dr. Clemens. We have been and will be lifelong patients.

Thank you to Dr. Brynne and the staff for everything they did with my last minute call in visit for my very sick kitty, Tiny Dancer. Tiny Dancer passed away two days later but this wonderful, place provided me with a dignified closure for my cat. Please share this comment with Auburn Veterinary Hospital. I sincerely appreciate the effort and smiles that were given to me on Monday. I’m hoping I filled out the survey correctly, but to be sure....the service was excellent, all the way through. I have stayed with this vet for several years despite moving out of state and to further cities in Ohio. I’ve always felt respected by the vet and that effecient time was taken to help assess and explain what might be happening to my pet. The only thing that seems an area for improvement is the cleanliness of the vet - more specifically the bad odor and damage to trim in the rooms. Otherwise, I appreciate the quality of care and respect shown to me as a pet-owner.

My cat suffers from anxiety that results in crystals in his urine. He suffered a complete blockage last December, which should have been forwarded to your office from the animal hospital. I was surprised that the doctor didn t spend any time talking to me about that and/or feeling his bladder, that I was aware of. I understand that this is a chronic condition with remission periods, but I thought she might ask. I did talk to the technician in length about it. Also, there were two separate situations with loud barking dogs in the waiting room. The first time I asked the technician to please remove the dogs, and she went into the reception area. We let the cat calm down. Then, there was a 10-15 minute questionnaire before the exam, which is way too long for a cat to sit in a room, esp. one with this condition. When the second round of barking happened, my poor little kitty was a wreck. I can t say if this caused it for sure, but 3 days after this appt. he developed signs of anxiety/bladder issues. We had been bladder-well since December. It started with tiny piddles in his litter box, 8 in the day; however, each one got bigger in size. At the same time, I had reduced his food because of too much weight gain. I bumped up the food to get the medicine or balanced PH from the food into him (or if he was feeling stress from less food). Within 24-36 hours he continued to urinate more at one time and less frequently. We are back on track and his personality is normal. I will seriously consider that at the next appt. to out the questionnaire in advance and pick a time that is not surrounded by dogs. We cannot repeat ($$$) another urinary blockage. Thank goodness for Hills c/d food which pulled him through this episode.

The only negative I continue to experience every single time I go is the wait time in the exam room. I always hear lots of conversation in the back room while I am waiting and that tends to be frustrating. I would love for the wait time in the exam room to be improved.

The smell upon entering was a bit overpowering of dirty dog. The interior was on the plain side, yet, there were signs everywhere of what NOT to do.On the flip side,the staff is fabulous and more than accomodating and helpful.

Vaccination certificate was not signed. Am unsure if cat’s teeth were checked. Does that me we have to return in August as originally listed? Wish technician would not stand in the way and partially block our view of what the doctor was doing.
