There seemed to be a lot of confusion regarding when to enter the building by the front staff.

We are new to Laramie and was worried about having our fur baby seen. He is a very large dog and usually scares everyone around him so it’s hard to find people willing to take the time to get to know him. The entire staff at Gem City was great with him. Never once did I feel like anyone was looking at Dozer is a negative way and I appreciate that so much. Each person took time to get to know him and see how much of a good dog he really is. I’m so glad we chose Gem City and I feel confident with taking all of our pets there! Thank you so much!

Gem City was amazing with my Fur Babies. I cannot thank them enough for how fast you worked with my fur babies ingesting rat poison. Meeting me on a Saturday Morning after hours. Your love and support to save my fur babies life will not ever be forgotten. Thank You Veronica and Fernando Zamora

I have been extremely satisfied with this practice. I have seen many vets over the years and none have been better than this. Dr. Gill is an excellent vet and very attentive to my pets needs as well as being very personable and easy to communicate with. She makes you feel as if you have a friend. I am in a medical profession as well and know how things can get very hectic and busy but this practice always has been very friendly, from the personnel up front to the techs and not to mention the doctors. They were just as personable and helpful during this pandemic and I never had any problems getting my animals taken care of. I highly recommend Gem City and have recommended them to my friends and all who have gone there have nothing but nice things to say.

I ve been with Gem City Vet Clinic (previously Snowy Range Vet Clinic) for over 30 years. The staff & the service has constantly remained attentive, informative and empathetic, to our veterinarian needs.

Thank you for taking so much time with us and adapting as needed to ensure we were able to get each of our kitties the care needed.

Just switching from alpine animal hospital. Gem city vets spent more time with me and charged me 60% what alpine quoted me. So far I m very impressed. Keep it up.

Gem City Vet is my go to. Everybody is always very warm, cheery, kind, and inviting. Crystal Gill is an amazing vet and the clinic has us for life. Thank you for everything!

When I arrived, I called and someone said they would be outside with me shortly. I waited 10 minutes outside before coming in. On pickup (I dropped off my pet) I was again waiting quite a while.

I forgot to ask for my Vets name but she was absolutely wonderful and the vet tech helping her, I believe her name was Emma was also incredible. They both were wonderful with my sassy dog and made him and myself feel comfortable.

We really enjoy Kelsey and Tia but overall our experience recently has not wonderful.

My pets could not receive any better/more compassionate care than from the staff at Gem City Vet!

I was pretty upset that I couldn’t go in with my pet bc of covid, but many staff members weren’t wearing masks.

Excellent care, friendly staff, convenient website.

The group does wonderful work, and they are always thoughtful and listen. The wait times seem to be getting quite long, however. When I arrived and had been waiting 30 mins in my car, the tech said, “I don’t know why, but everyday things get so busy at 3 o’clock.” My friendly suggestion would be to schedule fewer pets at the end of the day if appointments consistently pile up. Or text to let people know things are running behind so they can arrive a bit later. Thanks!

Vet tech said we could pay when we come back in May. Receptionist interrupted her and said we had to pay immediately. Asked for an appt time in May that maybe less busy/hectic she scoffed and said let s try 1pm. It was very busy so maybe she had a rough day but her attitude was a bit negative. Doc and vet tech were wonderful! Very attentive, checked prior records, got us in timely to keep dogs up to date on all needs. Looking forward to continuing to see and have Dr. Gail as our vet!

When I needed to drop my dog off, I had to wait 20 minutes for him to be checked in. The call included staff asking me questions. When I was finally able to bring the dog inside, they asked me the same questions again. Later that day, I called while driving to pay for the appointment costs to save time, explaining that I was on my way. This should have clued them in that they could get him ready to go. I still had to wait about 10 minutes for my dog to be brought to me and was told the vet would call me tomorrow with lab results. He became very ill about an hour after bringing him home. I called the next am to report this so the vet would know about it when she called me. The person apparently called the vet, called me back and told me it was likely a flare up of his condition and that the vet would call me on Monday. She also said she couldn t fit him in that day because they were too busy. I find this to be really poor customer service on many levels. If you are too overwhelmed with patients, maybe you should do the ethical thing and refer them out. I will be looking for a different vet. PS, my account is always pain in full. And your voicemail is very offensive. It states blatantly that unless you are in good standing with the clinic, they really don t give a shit that your animal is sick.
