Gem City Vet is the best vet in Laramie, wouldn t take my dogs anywhere else, been using them for 20 years now!

I appreciate that the vet and the tech took time to listen to a full description of my cat s symptoms. This has not always been the case.

With this being our first time at Gem City and considering the circumstances involving our visit, I was quite pleased!! The receptionist seemed to understand that Charlie would need extra time with the vet, she knew this was not just a squeeze him in kind of appointment. Yes, we had to wait 4 days to get him in, that worried me absolutely, but it was what he needed with all the tests that had to be done, the doctor and her assistant vet (not sure what his title is) was so honest and kind to all of us and she explained everything as best she could! I am beyond grateful that I was referred to Gem City!

I was so worried to leave my cat, she is my first cat, I love her very much and didn t want anything to happen to her. The staff reassured me and even called and checked up on her the next day. I will certainly be coming back if there is any concern with my cat. Thank you to all the staff. ??

You were amazing. The front desk was really helpful, and the vet was so sweet. ??

When I called with an issue with our dog, you didn t have an appointment that day or the next, but said you could possibly fit him in between appointments in the afternoon of the next day since it didn t sound like a serious problem. I so appreciated you fitting him in. However, I didn t think his quick exam warranted a charge for urgent care. I understand you fit him in, but it wasn t anything urgent like a serious injury or illness. I knew he would end up with just an antibiotic cream of some kind. He was going a bit crazy, and I just needed to make sure we weren t missing something like a tick, or paracite, etc.

I struggle with how difficult it seems to be to draw blood from my pets. If it were a one off or if it only happened with one of my pets, I would understand, but it seems to happen with all of them. It’s hard to bring a stressed out animal to you and then have them be poked 10 or more times to get a blood sample. This doesn’t happen when I take them to other vets so I’m confused. You guys are patient and kind during the whole thing but it is frustrating and it hurts my heart to see the animal go through that. Maybe more training or a phlebotomy refresher?

Very pleased with everything. Our dog was seen by the vet and vet tech on short notice without an appointment and we received the needed services. I recommend gem city vet to everyone.

I have a very reactive dog and it was SO nice to be able to enter the examination room through a side door (to avoid contact with other animals). However, it would have been nice to be able to check out in that same room. I had to go to the lobby to pay, and my dog was very loud and distracting because she reacted to the other animals in the facility.

Switched vets in town because I was unsatisfied with another place. Just in the front staff alone, I knew I had made a good decision.
