Gem City Vet has awesome, cheerful, and professional Veterinarians and assistants. I received prompt telephone consultation for an after-hours canine injury. When it was decided the wound could be stitched up the next day, our dog was miraculously woven into their busy morning with a cheerful attitude from all.

The dewormer was not applied correctly on Rayos, all his fur came off where it was attempted, see image in separate email. He was also overly tired for a full day after his one plus injections (2 attempts). Both of these reactions were unusual.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and the care that was shown. Thank you so much.

The entire staff at Gem City is amazing! Everyone is helpful, thoughtful and takes time to really be present when I bring part of our furry family in. Twice this year they saved Lily, our Great Dane, going above and beyond to take care of her. I don’t have enough words to say how grateful I am to EVERYONE who works there. I had to bring my cat Nibs back in after he had a bad reaction to the dewormer, and I have to say I really appreciate everyone s compassion and helpfulness in what was actually a very scary moment for me!

This is the best vet to go to.i will never change vets. They take pride in their work and take care of my dogs as if they was their s. Thanks to everyone there to caring and be there when needed.

Still have trouble understanding why the cost of your bottled drug is twice the price of ordering it on mail. I can understand some mark up but not 100%.

Great first experience.

Staff at Gem City Vet made sure I was welcomed when I came through the door. They recognized my dog and made sure to greet him by name too! Although this is small, it means a lot to me that the staff not only acknowledge me, but my dog too. I really feel like they care about their patients and this simple greeting really means more to me than you know. Thank you Gem City Vet!

For the first time I was upset with you. I setup an appointment for Garins 2 weeks in advance of his surgery and when I arrive at the scheduled time of 7:45 am I was told no such appointment was listed. Well if that s the case why would I have gone through with all of the instructions given at the time the appointment was set? No food after 10 pm night before only water, no food in the morning, general knowledge for surgery. Wondered why I never got a text or call to confirm, now I know why. If I take the time to make a call and schedule the least you could do is schedule and not get involved with something else and forget. I got this treatment from Alpine and hated it, only reason I don t leave here is because I think you truly care and made a mistake. Only reason Garins was neutered is because a tech came out from behind the desk took a brief look and said, yeah we can get him in. Good thing, I had taken an extra day from work to be home for him. The end result was good but getting there sucked, this time. Please pay more attention and complete whatever it is you do for scheduling before doing something else

The survey is confusing. If I select the excellent star, does changing it to gray mean that it is 4 stars? I don t know if you can rely on the survey results.

I really appreciated that the vet was wearing a mask. I would love it if the rest of the staff were also masked, especially since we re in such close quarters in the exam rooms.
