I booked an appt, received a “confirm your appt” and showed up. To hear that it was 9 days too early for booster and rabies shot. Because of the age of our puppy it was too early. The explanation and handling the situation was awesome. Really appreciated the approach. The challenge is that I took time off work planned for, and now we need to juggle calendars again for an appt between 9-16 days window from now. My only feedback if it doesn’t exist in a triggered system, is whether appointments are confirmed automatically or someone looks at the file first before confirming. It would be a great added step for the later. I could have not shifted work around and only sorted once given the confirmation comes a few days prior. Small bit of feedback. Otherwise VERY happy patient!

I was disappointed with the billing. We came in for a routine ear infection. My dog was looked at for about one minute, consisting of literally just looking at his ears. The nurse then told the doctor that they should do a swab, no one told us that the swab had a fee attached. I told the doctors that it was likely the exact same ear infection he had before, very simple to deal with, and we just need a new prescription for his ear medication. This was also what I told the technician on the phone when I called in. We were charged $118 for the appointment which was ridiculous. We were then charged a further $65 for the ear swap, which was also uncalled for and we did not consent to it. All in all the bill was almost $400 today and we ended up getting a prescription for the exact same medication I had asked for at the get go. I had only asked for a renewal of these meds. I told the technician that Franklin was perfectly healthy, eating fine and drinking fine, and no issues. I said that I thought he had a simple yeast infection in his ear and we just needed a new prescription. I ended up paying $400 for a bunch of tests which in my opinion were excessive and “conducted” just charge the fee. There was absolutely no need for this expense today and as a result, I’m going to be looking to take our dog elsewhere. I will be in touch when I decide if we are moving to a new clinic. I’m incredibly disappointed. We have been coming here for 4 years and this was exceptionally disappointing.

Going to the vet is always very stressful for me but everyone at this clinic is consistently kind and helpful. Thank you for taking such good care of my cats.

Everything was perfect with Jupiter visit to Jane Animal Hospital. Loved the place, loved the Vet, all the explanation given, it did not feel like a rushed service. Definitely the new place to take Jupiter!

It would be nice if staff could wear a mask if they see a customer wearing one! It’s a nice way to show community care for your chronically ill and immunocompromised neighbours.

ALL the staff at the Jane Clinic are beyond AMAZING! They take SUCH good care of my Yorkie and keep me as calm as I am able to be. I hugely appreciate their care and consideration.

I had a minor pet emergency and they told me to bring in my dog right away. They dealt with the problem on the spot. It was greatly appreciated as it saved me a long trip and wait times at an emergency facility.
