In the past six months we have endured a lot of emotional turmoil. My little brother passed away in July, we have had financial difficulty, and my husband was hurt badly in August. When our pups became very ill with parvo it was like being told our children were dying and we were heartbroken. We couldn t afford the treatment and the odds were not in our favor. Because of Dr. Altman and his staff working with us diligently to give us the best possible chance for them to survive. We cannot thank them enough and are indebted to them. Mountain Parks Veterinary saved our Bassett puppies and are the best vets in the area. Thank you so much.

Dr. Altman s vet practice is the best I ve experienced. Very thorough and I never feel pressed for time. He is patient with our questions and answers them completely.

Dr. Finn was great! Our dog is a difficult animal who is terrified in unusual situations and with strangers, especially veterinarians. Dr. Finn was easygoing and gentle and by the end of the appointment, we were able to remove our dog s muzzle and she was relaxed and friendly. Leiah didn t growl at the vet, which is unusual for her. We attribute this to the veterinarian s animal skills and her way of performing an examination with the absolute least amount of psychological trauma to a shy dog. Leiah clearly liked this veterinarian - she has never liked a vet before. We were impressed. We also liked that Dr. Finn was conservative in her treatment plan and was not quick to overprescribe unneeded medications. She communicated to us the utmost concern for our pets well being. The support staff was super, too, and everyone in the office took care to make our visit productive and comfortable. Our first visit to Mountain Parks Veterinary Hospital was first-rate.

We brought Blue in for a small wound on his leg, during the visit Dr. Altman performed Blue s annual check up. He discovered Blue had a fractured tooth near the back of his mouth. His careful examination likely prevented Blue from having very painful days/weeks until we discovered it ourselves. We appreciate the very friendly & helpful office staff and Dr. Altman!

Thank you for helping me to understand Dixie s condition. She is doing much better with the medications that were provided. That said, I know that she, and our family, are in for a rough go as she loses her mobility. She really is the dog of a lifetime and it is sad to know that she is struggling.
