Love my zoo, love Gem City Clinic

Although we must stay outside, I felt completely comfortable handing my new fur baby over to someone. The doctor called & explained the visit and answered all my questions. I love that they all loved my Simon & took good care of him.

Even with the strangeness of having to wait in the car while my dog went in without me, I still felt like he got as thorough an exam as always. Dr. Walker called me after doing the exam and we talked in detail about everything, and I felt good about it. Gem City is doing an excellent job handling all the necessary changes to keep everyone safe, and I don’t feel like my pets’ care has been compromised at all. Thank you!!

It is still a bit difficult because of COVID - but all things considerer Gem City took good care of my dogs. Can t wait until we can do this in person again - always much easier..

The cats were relaxed when they returned home, so they must have been handled gently. We re happy with the service.

I was worked in and Dr. Kelsey spent so much time talking to me about Lucy s results.

Check the weight on the dog carefully. Missed the weight on my dog by 20 pounds.

House call on parrot. Staff excellent.

The tape on Zeus bandage was on his fur in several places and was awful to get off. He has very fine fur, and the tape pulled the fur off and was stuck to his skin. It was painful for both us and him to remove.

Let me just say that I was tentatively apprehensive about the covid set up. Your staff, techs, and vets were all very friendly polite and professional; which made the whole experience a good one.Keep it up! Thanks you!

We were happy with the visit we had on Friday. Sharing our observations with the dr. worked out well, better than I would have expected. She took a lot of time with Molly and us. We appreciate being able to remain isolated. Thank you.

for the most part this was a good visit. I appreciated the communication got before and during the visit. The wait to pick up the dog was pretty long about 20 minutes from when I called to them coming out. I also wish I would have been given an option between a regular cone or the sputer shirt to keep from licking. the shirt does not work even the way it was tied coming from the office the dog was out of it before we got home.

When I picked up Simba from his appointment the provider was not friendly. In fact, she was quite short with me. All I can think of is she may have been upset that I parked on the west side of the building (closest to the entrance) rather than on the north side. I when I called to announce my arrival, I told the provider on the phone where I was parked. The provider who eventually brought Simba to my car held the leash high, cocked her head somewhat to the side, and asked Is this yours? I felt rushed after that. I did not take the time to ask questions as I otherwise would have. Also, Simba is quite large. The post-surgery Sputer shirt that he was put in was a XXL. The measurement instructions on the shirt show that he should be wearing a 3XL. Visually, it looks too small. The first time we took him out to pee, he peed inside the shirt because the pee hole doesn t line up with his body. We washed the shirt. We have to stretch the shirt out each time we take him out to pee. Other than that the visit was great! The clinic was good about communicating expectations. There were no unexpected expenses. Payment was easy.

I really hate the cone and wish you would have had the Post surgical shirt. Having said that, you people are WONDERFUL!.
