Dr JC is wonderful. She has cared for our furs for many years and we wouldn t trade her for anyone else in the world. She always explains all options and helps you determine the best plan of care for your pet.

Dr. Runnels has seen our dog Scout for 9 yrs now. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, kind, & we trust her implicitly. She is also very patient with me & my inevitable long list of questions in regards to my baby! All of the doctors & staff at Mariposa are amazing and I highly recommend this practice!

Mariposa became my veterinary clinic after a vet tech at another practice dismissed my cat s dilated eyes. Her blood pressure spiked, and her retinas detached. When I called in a panic, they were too busy to see her. I needed a new veterinarian I could trust. The entire team at Mariposa is amazing. I stayed a client even after moving to Lee s Summit because their vets are experienced in both traditional and complementary medicine. They always go above and beyond.

I love Mariposa! The vets are great with care and listen to all my concerns. I wish the front staff was friendlier and they had better availability for appointments. Sad I might have to find somewhere else.

Dr. Runnels wise, compassionate care greatly calmed my anxiety over my dog s condition and inspired trust in her treatment advice. She reviewed the records from my previous vet and saw that a misdiagnosis had been made, which would have resulted in a protocol that would have caused needless suffering and expense. I am enormously grateful to her and she will now be the primary vet for both of my dogs.
