Yes to all of the above. We appreciate them enough to drive from Lawrence, KS. I don t know of comparable providers in Lawrence or elsewhere, and hope we never have to go anyplace else.

I wish this place was still a small clinic like it was when it started. In my opinion it has gotten to large and seems to only want the money. They charge almost twice what other places charge for the same procedures. I am sure there is a large overhead but I feel it is all about the money now. I love Dr. Sheila and I know she cares about my animals. $70.00 for fecal exams for two dogs? Never get out of the office for less than $100.00.

Would still like some information regarding our duck that has a dislocated hip. The vet that saw her said she would do some research on amputation or other possibilities for treating her.

I was able to get an appt. quickly because i had an emergency. But normally it is hard to get an appointment.

Anthony is really second to none with all my pets, especially my cat Braveheart. I trust him and Dr. Dodson completely, and know they do what s best for all my pets. Anthony consistently goes above and beyond and it is a real comfort and relief knowing they are in the hands of Dr. Dodson and Anthony. I can t imagine going anywhere else!

My husband and I love Mariposa Veterinary Center, and our dog Lucca loves her doctor, Dr. Erin Runnels!! We took our dog to a veterinary clinic near our house, and after they prescribed antibiotics 4 times for Giardia when Lucca was only 5 months old, we wanted a more holistic approach. We are so happy that we found Mariposa, and Lucca was healthy and happy 2 weeks after our first visit!!! She has remained healthy since being under the care of Dr Runnels! Great to be Back! I am so glad I made the decision to see Dr. Shield. She is so patient, caring, and really explains the conditions.

I always feel that my pets are receiving the best of care & the staff are always so kind & courteous.

I paid for some medicine and when I got home I noticed they had NOT given the medicine that I originally made the appointment for , the lady said it was still in the refrigerator. So now I got to drive all the way from Leavenworth back down there to pick my medicine up for the dog.

Mariposa is a terrific place to take care of sick, old cats.
