We think that your practice is very quick to prescribe surgical remedies and related blood work. Both are expensive. It seems like the practice as a whole is more interested in making money than anything is. We are changing practices.

Every animal has its quirks . For example my previous dog couldn t stand taking his temperature and Oscar is dead scared of scales - the way they are next to a wall, or unsteady or something. When I bring my dog complaining on severe pain in his paw and still need to get him on the scale he fights with everything he got in him, injuring his poor leg even more. I wish any routine things like temperature or scales are done only if animal does not object or these are absolutely necessary. And animal s chart should be marked for those strangeness .

Lacey and Daisy were quite comfortable with their appt. As you could see when we arrived they were both anxious but it didn t take much for them to get comfortable. I really liked that they listened to me on how to trim Daisy nails, it made her very relaxed. It was a wonderful appt.

The wait time was over 30 minutes before the doctor came into the room. Once with my pet, the doctor is always caring and efficient. I just wish estimates would be given when discussions are occurring so questions and issues could be discussed at that point. Bloodwork and surgery estimates should be combined so a total cost is known before leaving the office to allow time for questions. It is easy for a pet owner to become overwhelmed when concerned about his/her beloved pet. Full cost disclosure at the time of the appointment would make decision making less stressful and less of a second guessing nature.

This time we waited with our pet in room for about 45 minutes AFTER time of appointment, Not a good thing especially from perspective of our very nervous cat! Not our typical experience with ORVH so hope that this was an due to something unexpected, emergency or the like, on your part and will not be repeated. So very sorry to learn that Dr. Agulnick will be leaving ORVH. She has been terrific over several years in working with us through the continuum of care from routine appointments to emergency surgery. Wish her the best in whatever she does but will also very much miss her as a friend and caregiver who knows Miles and Ella well.

We waited about 40 minutes in the room between the tech and the vet coming in. Then another 30 minutes after the vet was in. So we were there almost 2 hours. The vet was excellent and gave us all the time we needed, but just wasn t sure why we had to wait so long.

I was unsure of how my visit would go, as I was bringing my mouse in for ear issues. I was pleasantly surprised by how well Dr. Leslie Agulnick handled my mouse. She was gentle and patient with him, as he NEVER stops moving. Her and the rest of the staff were very nice and very informative. This was a positive visit for both my mouse and I :)

Excellent care. Loved suggestion about cheapest option for doxy medicine! Unfortunately with a large dog it seems that every visit easily grows into $500 + area, so we appreciate ORVH honest attempt to keep my cost to a minimum where possible. Diagnosis seem to be right on point with tick born Lyme and Anaplasmosis, so Oscar is doing very good (no more lameness) on doxy. Thank you and keep up good work!
