Absolutely love this clinic, very accommodating especially with animals that aren’t the happiest being there ??

I understand the need to charge fees for certain situations, however, keep in mind that not all customers live 5 minutes away, SO (if the schedule IS full for the day) I recommend the customer be advised ON THE PHONE that the clinic is booked for the day and ONLY EMERGENCY CASES can be seen; mentioning AT THAT POINT that the pet would have to be left for the day. In MY situation I had to drive 30 miles (round trip) to find out that my visit would be costing a significant amount more than normal to come in on that day. I don’t feel there were enough qualifying questions asked by the Appt Desk for THAT person to determine if it was an emergency case or not. I was simply told that if I could leave my cat for the day then she believed the doctor could work her in. I had to drive 30 miles TO THE CLINIC, before I was aware that my cat would be seen as an “EMERGENCY URGENT CARE” visit costing extra. Including THAT phrase alerts people that there may be an URGENT CARE CHARGE involved. There are many people out there, especially these days, that are on a extremely tight budget that would feel they were, in a sense, misled/trapped by not mentioning a special charge UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE ???? for an appointment. Just a suggestion ??… I DO appreciate you guys!!

We love Dr. Cook & all of the staff at the Bluffs. Dr. Cook provides high quality care to all of our pets. She is very thorough & we appreciate her holistic approach to healing! We highly recommend Dr. Cook & The Bluffs Pet Clinic!

Awesome Pet Clinic!!!

It is a disappointment that the wellness plans are going away. It truly is a nice program that helps out the furry kiddos by having checkups and to be seen and to their parents to be able to provide a budgeted approach of caring for their fur babies. Much like health insurance for ourselves and our human babies, it’s a budgeted system know what we will be charged for and what the copays are, etc.

We love Dr. Cook. She always takes the time to explain everything and answers all our questions. She s awesome!

We appreciated the time the Vet & Tech spent with us, explaining things, answering questions, making suggestions & getting to know our dog. We also are thankful to be allowed in, to comfort our dog, as she had been extremely stressed & frantic with the previous vet, who would not allow the owners inside to be with her during the vet visit.

From setting up my appointment to seeing the veterinarian, everybody was so helpful!! I would highly recommend The Bluffs in Red Wing to everybody, very friendly and informative staff ***** ????? Thank you all!!!! Greg Robinson

I loved the attention to detail my pets received. They are very important to me and I appreciate that. I also liked the natural remedies presented to me. I hope they work.

Wait time a bit long once in a room. My dog does not get too nervous waiting but others have. Wait time was due to no tech available to take blood draw. Dr did spend good time with my dog.

We couldn t be happier with all the care Masha has received with both Dr Lahner and Dr Cook...and all the supporting staff.

I was hesitant to continue booking an appointment when I was unsure of how to go about my dogs reactivity. I felt confused and just wanted to keep everyone safe, and I am so glad I kept the appointment. Gus vet was amazing and very understanding and was able to get him out of the vehicle and give him a quick evaluation right in the parking lot without missing a beat! I am looking forward to our next visit now!

I tried to make appointment online by clicking the make an appointment button but after logging in there isn’t anywhere to make the appointment.

Great experience overall. The staff and doctor were very nice and treated me and my pet with care. My only suggestion is the music in the exam rooms was too loud. This could add stress to pets during their visit. Could the volume in the rooms be turned down? Or some other calming music played instead?

We were so thankful for the wonderful care you showed Murphy. The vet at the U of M indicated Murphy s chance of pulling through were not great, so unfortunately little Murph was euthanized on Friday night. You all showed him a very caring and warm last day, and we very much appreciate that. Thank you so much.
