Don t change a thing!

We came to Petersen pet hospital because we needed a second opinion. Her old vet would not listen to me and was treating one area but not looking for another issue clearly going on. I was able to get in within a couple hours at most when I initially called and Dr Green listened to me and took X-rays, ran more blood work and got my 12 1/2 year old shih tzu some fluids. By the end of the day my suspicion was right and there was more going on than our old vet would check for. My fur baby has a mass that appears to be pushing on her esophagus and lungs and near her heart and this is part of what is very much wrong with her and the reason I brought her to the vet at the beginning. Dr Green and all the staff that helped us Thursday and Fri were all so very kind to me and I can tell they all truly love animals and what s best for them. As I type this we are still uncertain the outcome as we need to have our fur baby seen in Iowa State to see what exactly this mass is. I know it wouldn t change the outcome but if I would have come to Petersen pet hospital two weeks ago we could have gotten on the list for ames already and maybe have gotten results on whether we are dealing with cancer or a fatty tumer. Because they listen and they care about our animals. If you are needing a vet. Look no further. If you need a second opinion you are the only one who knows your pet and can get your animals help so get the second opinion.

Love Dr. Eichi (however you spell her name). She is wonderful and very caring, answers every questions and concerns. She is a joy to be with. Glad to have her. I started with Dr. Peterson when he first started up. I believe at that time it was just him. I m glad I ve stayed there. Now when are you going to set up a dog grooming business? I would really like to use you than Petco! Make the space and set up? Sublease? Employ or just simply rent it out. Thanks!
