I love your staff! Our last vet insisted on muzzling our puppy and using force to restrain for routine check ups. We were told he was THE worst behaved puppy the vet had EVER seen in his 30+ years in the business. I love that at your clinic Abe is not expected to stand still on a shiny, cold, slick exam table while a vet tech struggles to keep him still. Your vets and techs greet him with kind voices, get down on his level, and with just the right amount of peanut butter, complete even the ickiest of procedures including rectal exams, taking blood, giving shots, and inserting chips. Thank you loving our dog as much as we do!!

Barkley is still stoned, but woke up enough to enjoy her dinner and peanut-butter-covered meds.

The whole Staff and Dr. Emily were very kind and took our concerns seriously. Dr. Emily treats our pet with love and kindness! After the care that Belle got, she responded to the treatment and was more like herself. Thanks to Dr. Emily and Staff for working us in, we were very concerned.

Dr. Eike was excellent with the care of our dog Watson. She was caring and kind and was great at listening to my concerns. Have a sick pet is nerve wracking and Dr. Eike and Dolce (sorry not sure on the spelling) were the best at calming me and taking care of Watson.

I ve been going to Petersen Pet Hospital for close to 14 years. Drs McGinty, Saunders, and Petersen (the staff is included) have always been great to work with. The vets have always taken the time to explain things to me and show a genuine interest in our pets (2 cats and 1 dog) no matter which one f them we bring in, it s always they ask how the others are doing. They ve show compassion to us when one of our pets has passed away, as they have a real understanding of how we feel about them. I would never hesitate to send more business their way. It is because of how well they treat their clientele and their pets is why they had to have a new building constructed to accommodate the business they ve been getting.

I love that they make every pet feel as if it were their own and they love them as much as we do!

I received bad new about my cat. She has severe kidney disease. Dr. Aickey was amazing during this whole sad experience. She was so understanding through my crying and blubbering. She was very supportive during this difficult time. We are still going through it and I feel really blessed that I have Dr. Aickey helping me through it. Thank you so much!

There is a reason I drive from the SW side of the city by Kirkwood Community College clear over to Petersen Pet Hospital. It is obviously not the convenience of their location that matters the most to me. I drive there because it is the level of care and attention that my pets receive as well as the friendly, caring and personable staff that I love. I have followed Dr. Petersen from another vet clinic to his pet hospital out off Boyson, now to Kacena. Unless he decides to leave the state, I will probably continue to follow him with my furry kids!

I unexpectedly had to get my dog in quickly and we were able to be seen within 30 minutes after I called. We got some not so great news and Dr. Eike and all staff were sincerely wonderful to us. Dr. Eike even called in the days after the appointment to check on us and our dog. I can t praise or thank Dr. Petersen and his staff enough. They truly make us feel like we re their only & most important patient.
