Really appreciate the time that everyone there takes to help us out. We ve been with Belle Meade Animal Hospital since 1991. They ve treated a total of three cats and five dogs and never let us down. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a loving, caring professional veterinarian service. Unlike some veterinary services, they do not try to sell you additional services and products that you don t really need every time you visit. If they tell you your animal needs a service or a product it s because your pet will actually benefit from the experience. Great office staff.

We love Dr. Conn and all of the staff at Belle Meade Animal Hospital. You have been my pet docs for over 20 years now!! I pass 2 other offices to get to you . Well worth it.

My dog had severe stomach problems. Belle Meade a Animal Hospital was very sweet and helpful during my panicked call. They were able to get me in within the hour and welcomed us when we came in and even called my dog by her name. Dr. Edwards was wonderful with my dog and was able to explain what he thought was wrong and what we should do. He also personally called me that night to check on my dog followed by a call by the receptionist the next morning. I was greatly satisfied with my first visit and would definitely recommend them to others.

I just moved here and this Vet was the absolute best I have been too and made us feel right at home! I love Dr.Phipps and the front desk ladies are so sweet! So happy I found such a kind and loving place to take my pet!

My beloved Gunther was accepted for an examination without an appointment when he became sick. I am forever grateful for that treatment and act of kindness. My 1 criticism was when I picked up my sick pet to take to Blue Pearl, he had messed on himself from loose stool and the staff failed to clean him up before handing him over to me. My beloved dog did not like being smelly or unclean. I feel like he should have been cleaned up when he had the accident. To me, it was an act of neglect & uncompassionate to hand over my dog in such a condition. It saddened me & I wondered about the overall care he had received.

I hesitate to even mention this because it is not of terrible importance but here goes anyway. My cat was jarred from sleep by being picked up by the scruff when he was being returned to me to go home. Now I know this is common and not considered to be cruel or harmful - I myself have picked him up that way over the years for one reason or another. My only point is that in addition to being weak from days of not eating, he is 16 years old and not a bite or scratch risk.
