We love Westside and Dr Ellenburg

Westside is the best! We have 3 cats, (Bliss, Texas Fishstick and Lynx), and 2 dogs (Slider and Stoney), and have never once felt rushed or disregarded. We receive prompt attention, complete and attentive care from a very competent and loving staff. When Slider, our Golden Retriever was shot with a BB gun, Dr. Mahan and all the techs gave Slider the best care and lots of kisses while they removed his BB. All of our animals love coming to visit their friends at the vet s office. Dr. Lauren is one of their faves too. We started with Westside when we still lived in Madison because we had a medically fragile cat that nobody in Madison County would treat! Our cat required blood transfusions and frequent labs. When we found Dr. Mahan, she improved our baby s quality of life, prior to her passing from IMHA. I recommend this practice to everyone!

My darling Chihuahua Jake just loves Dr Dixie. We have been coming to Westside for 10 years+, even though, now, it is an hours drive, we would not go anywhere else (unless an absolute emergency). All staff are so caring.

Dr. Mahan is amazing and Bauer absolutely loves her. Even when you know that she s very busy, she takes time and doesn t make you feel rushed. She has shared our happiest times and our darkest times with our pets and her compassion for her patients is second to none.

I did feel we were kind of rushed but that is likely due to the volume of pets coming in to the facility all at once.

Dr. Lauren Ellenburg is absolutely amazing! We have had a wonderful experience with all the doctors in the office; however, Dr. Lauren is our primary veterinarian. She is so sweet, compassionate, personable, and caring and always takes her time with seeing Rascal. We recently had a very scary situation occur where Rascal was very, very sick. We were unsure of the diagnosis, and Dr. Lauren was so patient and comforting. She took her time, conferred with the other doctors, and provided us with a wonderful treatment plan. 1.Install hooks to hold leashes at both sides of the counter. This will hold pets leashes as customers conduct business. I have asked for this for years. I can supply the hooks!!! Larry Sortor 2. Add soft wall hangings to cut down on the noise in the waiting area.

We just change to westside vet, I am so happy. They take the time with us and l got to stay in the room with exam and shot. I highly recommend this clinic.
