Colonie Animal Hospital is one of the best veterinary offices around! They treat my dog, Sydney, like one of their own!

I am not sure if my answers took, but as an FYI, they are all 5. I love the Colonie Animal Hospital and the vets. they take great concern and offer options. It was also great to get a phone call from Dr. Wendy Burhmaster as a followup for Cocoa s Emergency Clinic visit and if we had any questions to give them a call.

We are always amazed at how quickly your staff and office responds to the needs of our pets. We have always received wonderful care, from phone calls with questions, to visits. Having older pets, we now are experiencing more episodic sick visits and have never had to wait to be seen. Your office staff is efficient at getting us in to see the doctors and the doctors are attentive to the needs of out pets and their overall well-being. We are so pleased to receive calls from the doctors just to check in and see how our pet is feeling after experiencing and illness.Our dog Annabelle received wonderful treatment after experiencing another bout of hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and is on the mend. I will also add, the doctor worked diligently to keep her treated as an outpatient in order to keep our costs reasonable, with the caveat and honesty, that should she not fair well as an outpatient we would then transition her to a higher level of care, complete with estimate and referrals to outside hospitals as necessary. Thorough care with an emphasis on what was best for our pet, and we as fur baby parents. We can t thank you enough. We are blessed to have you all.

Our dog, Yogi, has been boarding with Colonie Animal Hospital for 2 years now. We picked him up from his stay today (10/9/16), and for the first time, we were not 100% satisfied. We mention every time that we drop him off (and know that there is a note in his folder) that he is an escape artist. When the gentleman walked him out to us today, he dropped Yogi s leash and let him run to us...across the waiting room. The situation could have gone 3 ways: 1) Yogi s energy/outgoing personality could have startled or upset another animal or client. 2) Yogi could have gotten out of the door and been seriously injured (or worse) on Central Avenue. 3) Yogi could have been caught by us (like what did wind up happening today), and stayed out of harm s way. To the gentleman with the light brown hair and tattoos that was responsible for this negligence: We hope that this was a mistake ...and that it NEVER happens again (to ANY client/pet). We are all very lucky that the scenario that happened today had the best possible outcome. We are very happy to use Colonie Animal Hospital for Yogi s boarding needs, and we would love to continue that trend in the future. Yogi loves coming to stay with all of you; so, PLEASE, continue to be mindful of everyone s safety while animals are in your care. Jacki and Darrin Anderson

I have been a client for years and years and spent thousands of dollars at the hospital. Overall I am very satisfied. However, I have had a number of occasions where I needed to get my pets in quickly. The hospital knows how I am with my pets. I was told I couldn t come in, dr was full, couldn t help me etc. I find that unacceptable given my years with the hospital and the reason I needed to get in. Staff is wonderful friendly and helpful
