Both Zoe the manager & Zoe the receptionist were very helpful in setting up allergy tests for a doggie in our rescue. We appreciate that Dr. Buchanan was also willing to run these tests for us as no other vet we contacted in Canada was helpful at all. You guys are great :) I hope the doggies adoptive family continues bringing him to you for his vet care. I know he will be in good hands. Valerie Wallace. We really appreciated Dr. Leslie Burke s communication style and approach. She was clear, practical, and kind and helped us understand our options for our beloved cat. And we appreciate that she didn t make us feel shame if the simple treatment doesn t work and we need to go the palliative route rather than doing invasive tests or treatment to prolong our cat s life. She is our favourite doctor we ve had at this clinic.

My dog swallowed a tennis ball so I called my vet, Dundas West Animal Hospital. Even though it was almost closing time, they said to hurry over. I was very frightened ans overwhelemed but everyone I spoke to and interacted with was so kind, empathetic and efficient which eased my anxiety. Within the hour my dog successfully threw up the tennis ball through induced vomiting. He is now totally fine. I am so grateful to all the staff! I should add that my pet is a giant 150 lb uncooperative (but adorable) dog so this was no easy job. Thank you so much Dundas West!

Scott Bainbridge, Alex Folosea and his team are simply the very best! Scott has looked after our pets for the last 24 years. Their spirit of caring, compassion and professionalism sets the tone for the whole team. You can feel it from the moment you walk in the door. On our last visit we drove all the way from Ottawa to have them care for our dogs Vesta and Iko.

Hazel had been diagnosed with fear aggression after her second visit to our vet as a pup. She subsequently had to be sedated and most times muzzled for all her visits. After our visit to Dundas West Animal Hospital, I was amazed at how patient Steve was with Hazel and how he managed to gain her trust within about half an hour. She was like a different dog, the one we know and love at home and in the neighbourhood. Helen Longrigg was also fantastic with Hazel and was able to examine her from Hazel s vantage point: under my chair! All in all I would highly recommend this practise especially if you have a dog who is fearful of vets!

My little Mr. Marmalade is usually quite averse to vet clinics - his trauma predates me meeting him. This is the most relaxed I ve seen him in a clinical setting. I m also very pleased with how I was addressed as a pet parent. Thank you!

Everytime I come to Dundas west I am greeted with so much genuine kindness. Cosbie adores all Of the staff( and the treats haha ) Dr Alex and Steve were wonderful, welcoming and professional. I feel confident they have my dog’s best interest. I always feel like the staff cares and aren’t just there for a job or to make $. Even with all my questions lol You all do amazing work and it shows! Appreciate it??
