The time that Dr. Walker takes to address all my concerns and questions is really appreciated. My cat was recently diagnosed with a new condition, and just having Dr. Walker to explain things to me has been very reassuring.

The owner must be part of the visit once again, otherwise this opinion is meaningless.

They took great care of both Hunter and Daisy. The assistant who helped bring my dogs in and out heard my verbal cues and used them right away. My little dig Daisy don’t jump in the car, so the assistant didn’t hesitate to gentle out her in the car. Also, they offere me a plethora of options, but we’re never pushy when I declined some service.

Simon, Spike and I would like to thank Dr Speiser and the entire staff of Gem City Vet. Making the appointment was very easy with lots of choices to choose from. With COVID and the restrictions that have been part of our new life meeting a Vet tech in the parking lot and handing your beloved pet off would be something I never thought would happen... sorry I don’t recall the young ladies name but from the moment we talked I felt very comfortable and she asked lots of questions. I had been trying to call 3 days per week since December 20th and finally got an answer after January 15th. And I am quite frustrated because a year ago my pet was seen about hurting his foot and he had what we were told was a cyst. We were told not to worry about it if it didn’t grow. And it didn’t, but now we are being told it is a melanoma. The other veterinarian seemed to have no concern about it and this veterinarian immediately asked if she could take a sample. I am frustrated because this could have been taken care of a year ago.

I really appreciated the time that Dr. Spicer took to talk with me about Marley s bladder infection. It is tough sometimes caring for an older pet and I value Dr. Spicer s willingness to listen and offer advice as well as her empathy.

Appointment took 90 minutes and we were forced to sit outside in our vehicle for that time due to COVID?? We had our 3-year-old with us!

I appreciate the care Bella received. I would however like to share a couple things that happened during my visit. When I arrived I phoned in and got the answering machine. I left a message that I was in my car waiting for my appt. After 20 min I called again and you answered. I was told you don t check your machine so no one knew I had been there. I believe this should be addressed. Secondly, my appointment ended up taking over three hours. This was due to the machine that does blood work not working and having to call tech and reprogram it. I feel I should have been told and then sent home until you could get it working. Three hours is a lot of time to just sit in your car. Please know that I m not mad and know things happen. I just hope that you would look at doing things a little different in the future. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my side of things.

Thank you so much for thr professional and compasionate care you rendered to us and our Jager. He is his old self again. We did make some changes for him and he s been agreeable to them. We removed his crate and is now sleedping on a dog bed in our room at night. We just need to break him of thr 5:30 wake up call.LOL

Great experience! Both my cats were back to their normal selves and playing within hours of returning home from being fixed.
