When the information was shared with me via email about my cat s results, everything listed was for dogs. It was a bit disappointing to see that the care wasn t given to even pay attention to what type of animal my pet is. I m sure it was an easy mistake to make but it did rub me the wrong way.

I had been a customer in the past with a previous dog. This is as my first bait with a new pup. No greering. No welcome. That was to me, but nothing to Collins. They know his background so it was inortsnt he felt comfortable but reception didn’t even stand up out of their chairs. Just yelled across to put him on the scale even though he was only coming in for a nail trim. No offer of treats, no welcome period. Same happened when it came to pay the bill. I was bent over fixing his collar as I I was surprised the tech didn’t know how to connect his lead to a martingale. The admin was very rude. Also a little surprised that when the tech came to meet us, who was very nice, another tech came out and interrupted and said we need to get Collins in now because another dog is coming out. Not sure what that was about? But it was extremely rude and uncomfortable for all. I was also surprised that it was an extra charge for the tech to just look at his ears. I thought that wouid be ok as I assumed the wouid be looking at the best interest for the animal versus someone’s pocket book. Anyway, great job on the nails! Moving forward, I sadly can’t put my trust in your care with my pup. Thanks again.

Everything went smoothly

The doctor or staff should tell people prices before administering any service and be trusted to save money where possible. It is very very expensive every visit

I don’t like the restricted hours the clinic has—9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday is not very convenient. Even if the same number of hours were staggered, it would be helpful. Carlee began having a problem in the early afternoon of a Friday. If BWVAH had been open to, perhaps, 7pm, I could have saved $190 in emergency room fees.

Perhaps the weight of my cat could be done inside the carrier on the scale outside. And then subtract the weight of the carrier ? Just a suggestion.

Now this is something that I forgot to bring up during the appointment, but I had mentioned in the pre-examination questionnaire - Charlie has a cyst in his mouth and we didn’t look at it during the appointment :(

I think a conversation ahead of time re: potential costs would be helpful. While making the appointment on the phone, WHEN I ASKED about the cost of it, I was advised of the cost of the wellness exam but was NOT advised that IF there was urine and blood tests taken how much they would cost. I was also NOT advised that if I did not bring in a sufficent urine sample that it would be extracted from my pet at a cost. We know our animals care costs money, we re not suggesting it doesn t, but a little heads up on potential costs would be a nice customer service piece.
