Great experience

Not sure where to rate this. The doctor I saw was judgmental and arrogant. Pretty annoying when I m a customer with a pet. If I don t spend $2k on dental work then I m not properly taking care of my animal? Maybe you should figure out a way to help people that can t afford a bill like that. Further care for that animal will be done elsewhere so when I do decide to pay for the dental procedure, I actually have an affordable way to do so. I came in for a quality of life visit and not once did that get mentioned. Just, we recommend to do all the tests. I already knew I could have that stuff done. I was really wanting someone to give a general health outlook on my 14 year old cat. Instead, I got run tests to see anything else and do dental work to make them feel better. The doctor didn t spend any time asking how the cat is, if they are active, or anything. He was judgmental from the time he determine I didn t provide proper dental care. Well not everyone has $2k. Insurance costs continued to go up as expected since the cat is old. There is no way I would use that doctor to treat anything. I ll be taking my cat back to Roadrunner. Those doctors seem more caring and have better payment options. I ll still bring my guinea pig to get nail trim, but then I m done with your vet.

Definite sticker shock w/ the cost of the spay procedure however worth it as we adore the staff and trust Dr. Goshert most w/ our babies. Thank you for taking such great care of my Olive. She s doing awesome.

As new residents of Phoenix, we were concerned about finding a new vet for Yoko. Everyone at Union Hills Animal Hospital was kind, patient, informative, and attentive to ours and Yoko s needs. Everyone made us feel like we belonged.

We love this place! Our cats don t like to travel so the location is a big plus, however, the Staff and Dr. Goshert are so wonderful, that we would continue coming here even if we moved ... not planning to move, just saying! Thank-you all!

Good experience

I like this clinic. It feels professional and I trust everyone cares about my pets like I do. The one thing I found about this visit was that it felt like the vet was a little sneaky about charging us to send out a slide for my pet. Although I understand that the vet is not a pathologist. She said she would try to diagnose the slides and it would only cost $40, but if she couldn t and had to send it out then it would cost $220. The way she explained it seemed like a sneaky way to say you re going to pay extra for this and she did come back only a minute or so later confirming that she couldn t diagnose it. It felt a little off, however, I do trust this clinic to do the best for my pets.

I was very surprised that the examination of my dog happened in another room, not the room we were brought to. For any of our other dogs (in other facilities), the exam happened right in front of us so that we could see and hear what you were looking at and for so that we could be informed of her condition and status during the exam. I was also surprised that no questions were asked of me regarding her care as she was a 4 month old puppy and we had never been to your facility before.

The only thing I don t like is the exams are not done in front of us. They take pets to back room. In all my years I ve never experienced that and it makes me a little uncomfortable.

Union Hills is a great vet!

Started coming here because it was close to home, I moved but loved it so much that I’m willing to make the 25 minute drive to bring my dog to the vet.

Dr Goshet and her assistants are great. Very informative and always helpful and patient.
