I was a little confused. When I called to set up an appointment and get my dog s records from a previous vet, I was told that I needed to get her in for a specific vaccine within 10 days or she would have to go through a series of shots. So, I made an appointment and took her in. When I got there I was told that it was ok to wait until the end of November when the rest of her annual shots were due. I asked about this specific vaccination and was told by the vet assistant that no that could wait until her annual checkup. So, I m waiting and will see if she gets one shot or has to do a series.

When we were asked if we wanted Luna to get the feline leukemia shot, no one told us that a booster had to be done in another four weeks. Had I known that, I might not have opted to give it to her. I just hate exposing her to more stress and visiting the vet is pretty stressful for her (no offense). Also, I find the exam room to be rather sterile... maybe a towel or something on the stainless steel exam table?

I just moved to Longmont and it was my first office visit. Dr. Cross was fabulous and also Joel as well as the front desk. I couldn t be more pleased! Dr. Cross explained everything and took time to explain my dog s issues and followed up by sending me a detailed plan. So happy to find such a wonderful Vet and great place to take Lola!
