The assistant did a terrible job weighing the dog. The last time we weighed he was 24 pounds. Somehow, she said 12 pounds. Then I had the vet do it and she said 20 pounds. You need to get a reliable weighing system going. The waiting time was excessive as well. Waited outside for about 20 min...

We have visited Animal Medical Center of Highland Village many times in the past and this last visit was no exception: the staff are kind, courteous, and professional and care about our pets. We recommend them to everyone we see.

Absolutely love Dr. Carnes. She was very understanding as well as informative. She and her assistant Blake handled my usually wild unmanageable cat without any issues. I m really impressed!

Dr. Strauch always does a great job with our two Airedale’s. It is always great to listen to his advice and opinions.

I don t think the doctor gave Chatty a complete checkup as none of the usual attention was given. Her ears were very dirty after her recent grooming and I had not realized it. Any other doctor who has ever seen Chatty at HV Animal Med Center would have noticed and mentioned that to me because they always examine her ears. I had several questions concerning preventive shots but didn t get them answered or perhaps I wasn t listening as fast as she talked or didn t understand the medical terms. I hesitated in sending this because Chatty has been especially well treated for many years at Highland Village Animal Center. Thank you for patience in reading all this. Jacquelyn Orr-Gamauf

I waited for 20 minutes in the waiting room area (on what appeared to be a slow day). My dog is not dog friendly, and charged another dog while waiting. It would be nice if customers could be seated in a room more quickly if possible (especially if they aren t friendly with other animals). Otherwise, good visit. Staff and doctor are great.
