Great and caring doctor and staff

Everything was great. I’m still waiting to hear about a blood result, but haven’t called to remind the staff or to request info since I’ve been away. Great staff and great medical care!

Over the many years I ve shared my home with cats and dogs and now sheep, goats and chickens, I have known a lot of vets. Dr. Claire Varney at Abiqua Animal Clinic is simply the best. Her knowledge, compassion and dedication is just amazing. She is there for us whenever we need her (and we often do!) and I don t know what I d do without her.

We wouldn t take our animals to anyone else! We love Abiqua Animal Clinic!

I am extremely thankful to Abiqua vet clinic and Dr Varney for fitting my cat Willow in last minute on a booked schedule, especially with her being a very difficult patient. I am very happy with the care Willow received. I did withhold stars due to billing, not because I was dissatisfied by anything else. I noticed on my itemized recipe I was charged $65 dollars for a one ounce bottle of mometamax.. which seems to be a bit steep. Looking online, you can buy 15 grams for $30. I would have appreciated a heads up on the pricing of this, or any of the more expensive products before payment of them. As it would be nice to be able to consider other more affordable options.

I always appreciate the care and concern Dr.Varney and her staff show for my pet. They truly care about animals and realize how important they are to their humans.

The clinic was busy and handling at least one emergency, so I didn t mind waiting. I so so appreciate all the time Dr Varney has taken to talk with me and explain things to me. Thank you so much for the follow-up phone call and all your help.

Dr. Varney and her staff fit my cat in for an urgent xray. She didn t have an appointment time available but told me to bring her in. I was impressed and amazed at how calm and professional Dr. Varney was as she glided from caring for my cat to the multiple other furry clients that came in. Dr. Varney listened closely to all of my concerns and even did some research for me regarding some questions I had.
