I am extremely disappointed with the treatment of my pet and will never be back. I was forced to have a drop off exam. Which for my timid dog was extremely stressful. Forcing owners to put their pets in a stressful environment completely unnecessarily is ridiculous. Also, my pets exam notes were “signed” by dr Dunham who is retired. So I have no idea if a vet even saw my pet or a technician simply gave him his shots. Out of respect for dr Dunham who is a personal friend I will not leave public reviews on Google, bashing what was once a fantastic clinic. But I will never be back and regret keeping my drop off appointment. I just pray my dog is not affected in the long term for his future vet visits. Unacceptable

Dr. Regan Smith failed to listen and understand the problem I had with her wanting to over dose my dog ( Mary) for her next visit. No matter how I tried to explain to her the effects that it would have on my dog, she just didn’t care for my dog’s safety and then told me that I needed to find another vet to take care of Mary.

Durham animal hospital has the most Professional, knowledgeable, caring, patience, loving,and understanding staff they have been consistently with customer service and the service they provide my dogs I am sooooo thankful to God to have my dogs given such Outstanding care by Durham animal hospital as a US Army Veteran I Salute all of Durham animal hospital employees and doctors on a job well done I thank you all for caring sooo much to give my dogs Excellent care with having to wait all day my appointments are on time and I appreciate all of you and you all are such beautiful young ladies inside and out always smiling and have such great energy and motivation with doing your job again I’m thankful for you all stay Encouraged and keep giving the Excellent service you are making a difference not just with our pets but with all the customers you’ve touch God bless Durham animal hospital be safe and njoy your day V/r US Army Veteran I Salute you all on a job well done

Care more about the dogs and worry less about upcharging.

We were told you would call us between 11 and 2. I heard nothing so I called at 2 was told the vet would call me after she was finished with the surgery she was doing. Never heard called back at 4. Was told he would be ready at 4:30 p.m. Never was told what they found out about Skip s bump on his neck.

We would NEVER go anywhere else!! We love you as much as Cleo and Ralphie do. Thanks for all you do.

I understand prices are rising everywhere, but your prices are high.

Upon receiving the phone call that the room was ready I walked in and was not assisted right away. Vet assistant (Gina?) was unhelpful with assisting with the weight process. That vet tech (Gina?) also seems like she’s terrified of dogs don’t think that’s the right field for her. The tech that came in to assist with shot and drawing blood was actually really great I wish I had her name to at least compliment her. Also the checkout process took too long for a dog that is anxious. Staff should have done better at accommodating for a dog that is unable to wait for long periods of time. I once had a vet tech actually bring the payment into the room and assisted with walking me to the car. Probably one of the worse experiences I’ve had a dunham and I’ve been going for 3 years.

I am confused I have always sent Vet when I have taken my dog in for vaccines . This time they had technician give the vacine . Also when I called to have a new puppy get vaccine shots there was a 6 weeks wait . I have always taken my dogs over 39 years to Dunham and have never had to wait for appointment this far out and also have always seen the veterinarian not a technical .

It has always been a great place to take my pets. Friendly caring staff.

Love going there, but prices are a shy high.
