I had four kittens that needed to be seen very soon. Though they were booked, they got me in the same day the first time, and within a few days the next. Though we lost two of them to distemper virus, we were able to keep the other two alive due to the care and guidance we received here. Thank you so much Dr. Elliot and staff!

Ames Pet Hospital was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad that I followed her advice. The staff was extremely friendly and so great with my dog. They did an amazing job of explaining everything to me and offering recommendations for what might be best for my dog. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet clinic and will be continuing to take my dog there from here on out.

I can t remember his name but we saw a male Dr. we hadn t met before and he was fantastic. He took time to ease my concerns and explain all our options. It was a very nice visit.

We took Walker (our dog) in with the plan of euthanizing her, but Dr. Tony reassured us with a new medication (for her arthritis) and increased medication (for incontinence), she would recover well. So far so very good!

With this being my first pet every besides a fish the Doctor was very helpful with taking time to explain what everything is and what he was looking for throughout the exam. All staff members were extremely friendly and I would definitely recommend Ames Pet Hospital!

Through the years we have seen many Vets for our beloved dogs. I do want to say that this was the most impressive place that we have EVER been to. It was SO clean and Dr. Spray literally took more time just doing the basic of dog checking than anyone else EVER has! We were just driving through Ames and had a sick dog. If we lived there; we would indeed have Ames Pet Hospital be our place. Thank you so MUCH for everything! We truly could NOT have been more impressed. Dr. Spray explained everything to us and she was the BEST!! Thank you for everything!!!
