Dr. Marks was excellent in his dealings with Winston. He explained everything to us very clearly as to what procedure had to be done on our dog. Winston is now home and seems to be healing well. I am always pleased with our appointments. The fact that my dog never scared of being at the vet and is excited to see the veterinarian speaks volumes about what great and kind care they take of my dog.

This was my first time having my dogs here for a check up. I’m used to the dogs being examined in the room with me and was a bit surprised that didn’t happen. I guess it doesn’t really matter but it just wasn’t what I’m familiar with.

I visited with a concern about my dog s skin. I was pleased to be hear that she does need medical condition. But after I left, I felt I didn t receive enough information to know when/if I should bring her back. And I received no information about why she might be experiencing the conditions (bald spot and a growth. In fairness, I did not ask but still think the explanation and instructions should be routine. My second concern is the cost of a visit. McGilvray Vet should consider having a lower charge for short visits that don t take much of the doctor s time. That way, pet owners won t hesitate when making non-emergency appointments (or wait for an annual visit) to consult the vets.

Dr. Tate has been our vet for over 20 years. He, and all the staff, are amazing. My cats have been very well cared for and I constantly recommend your clinic to everyone. Don t ever move or change anything - it is all perfect (Well, it would be if Dr. Tate wasn t retiring!! :)

My only issue was that I called the emergency line the evening before the appointment. I wanted to speak to someone about the issue to see if I needed to go to an emergency clinic. No on called me back so that was disappointing.
