Firstly, the front desk staff was terrific and welcoming. However, I was very disappointed with the vetrinarian we saw. I specifically brought my 13 year old daughter to the vet appointment. This is her puppy. She was so excited to come. Despite my attempts and hers to be involved, the vetrinarian did not engage with her at all. This is our first dog. The vetrinarian made us both feel terrible. He was negative and discouraging. I left feeling sad and like a terrible puppy momma. I then asked about typically billing costs at the front desk when leaving. I did not get any satisfactory answers. I asked about costs of visits, vaccines and spade. I was told it depends on the size of the dog. I was given the costs of vaccines. I asked again, saying I wasn’t holding you to estimates, but wondered if my dog ended up being about 50lbs what would be the cost to fix her. Told you’d let me know at the time.

Excellent client experience as always. I have been very happy with the care and expertise for over thirty years.

We had a very good first visit with Dr. Gelman...a very nice man.

It is expensive. Good service in less than 5 minutes cost $58.A lot of extra services were suggested that seemed unnecessary given the age of the dog and situation. I felt a bit like there was a focus on selling.

I have been going to McGilvary for nearly 30 yrs - would not trust my cats with any other place. Thank you for all your wonderful years of service - especially Dr.Owen so appreciated.

Everyone was great!!

No issues at all. No wait and I left and came back to a very happy puppy who was freshly groomed!

The only difficulty is being able to make a grooming appointment due to the long wait time ??. Other than that, my dog is extremely well taken care of. We are very happy
