Charlie really loved it there. We are all sadden and all of us will miss him. I wish he could have been there for the boarding. He would really love it there. If I ever get another silky terrier I would have him or her stay with you folks. Thanks again

Hi, I have been waiting for Jazmine s BLOOD test result call through out from the morning. i supposed to be called by noon but you didn t so I called then Dr Mako was busy n she will call me back soon... that I was said by receptionist. . I am very disappointed in my visit due to a few issues that took place. I came in to find out about my dogs eye discharge, and also discharge from the prepuce that is a bright yellow along with excessive licking for weeks. The eyes were tended to, but the other issue was dismissed as him being an intact dog and normal. The vet did not look at the color of the discharge from the prepuce, and more importantly, no tests were offered, such as urine tests for a suspected UTI. My dogs temperature was never taken, I would’ve expected that to be the first thing that was done. His eyes were tended to, and we received ointment and left. Later In the day, my dog became lethargic and could not stand up (please note he is a heathy 4 year old whippet). When he did manage to get up he couldn’t walk, he swayed back and forth and was in obvious pain. I began to worry and wonder if he may have had a fever and had no choice but to google how to take a dogs temperature. I ended up having to use my own thermometer (of which cost $20 and I had to throw away after) to attempt a rectal temperature measurement. I also had to measure his vitals and give him an exam by feeling around for any pain spots or glands. None of these obvious and necessary exam items were done by the vet. At this point, I suspect a UTI infection that may have spread and is causing my dog much discomfort. I will need to go to another vet tomorrow, and pay an additional exam fee for them to do what the vet that I paid $112 to at Surf Paws, should have done or offered to do. Finances are a concern for me and I am unhappy that I have to pay another exam fee for the issue I came in about to be tested. My dog needs a urine and whatever other test to determine if (which seems likely according to his symptoms) and what type of infection is present. I feel like I wasted my time and money coming in there on Saturday. Rather than writing a public review, I am letting you at Surf Paws know of my concerns and hopefully someone there will contact me and address this. Thank you -Desiree

Worried about pet, squeezed me in the am. I did not feel rushed, questions and concerns answered and sensible plan of action was devised.

With respect to 2, it wasn t a problem with the office but there was an emergency being handled by the vet at the time of my arrival so being seen was delayed by that emergency.

The vet tech was great! I love your assistants! The visiting vet was pretty cold and shaved a pretty big spot on Tiki s head. Maybe it was because I came during lunchtime instead of the later time that was available! Quote was $150 out the door $305.

We have been coming there for years and cannot for the life of us understand how and why Stephanie is still there in a front desk/customer service capacity!!! She has terrible (NONE) customer service or phone skills and yet she is the front line of your business!!! EVERYONE else there is fantastic as far as customer service, compassion and empathy!!! Every single time we arrive she talks to us as though it’s the first time we’ve ever been there and she doesn’t know who we are!!!! My husband and I are both in customer service and her behavior is unacceptable!!!

Although this was a terrible visit (due to the pet issue we were dealing with), the service we received was the best I could have asked for. Dr. Kenny was absolutely wonderful and I walked away with a clear understanding of our way forward. I would love to continue seeing her. Thank you so much for taking the best care of my favorite girl, Jazzee!

We had to wait a long time because, I was told, the office was particularly busy that day. We also did not get to see Dr. Miliaresis, who has always seen Abby is the past, as I expected, perhaps because I made my appointment on-line. I will call for an appointment from now on and make clear we want to see Dr. M.
