The issue with pricing of the hygiene trim for Archie has been addressed, which I appreciate. In the future I will be much more proactive about asking how much things cost, especially if it s something I casually mention and don t have full knowledge of what the process entails or the cost involved. I would have never requested it had I known. Thank you.

Twice, over the phone, I was quoted $135 for spaying my female, 35 pound, 2 year old dog. Whomever I talked was looking at Katie s chart at the time as she said, yes, I see that she weighed 35 lbs last time she was here. While 1 conversation might be ME mis-hearing, when I made the appointment, several months later, I asked if the price was still $135 and was told yes . My guess is, for the 2nd call, the person was multi-tasking (which I get; I was a ward clerk at the UofO clinic and know how busy it can get) and agreed without hearing exactly what I was saying. You can imagine my shock to learn that the cost was actually $210! I m a low income person and had saved the $135 over a few months, so it was distressing. Thankfully, the office manager compromised with an in-between price, for which I am grateful. I just wish that I had known what the true price was before confirming the appointment. Thanks all that you do, and your service!

The tech that gave Jaxon his last shot is not good. On Jaxon s first ever visit to a vet she did nothing to build a repour with me or Jaxon before she just got right to it and pushed the temp device in his ear and he yep in pain. She had no reaction to hurting him. Then on our last visit she again did nothing to build repour with either of us and again tried to take his temp and he wasn t going to have any part of it, she just said oh we don t need a temp. She had to give him two shots and Jaxon was just scared of her by now and didn t want to have her near him. It was hard that she has set him up for a bad experience with the vet office. She s the blonde one and I don t care to have her treat Jaxon again.

Dr Polk is wonderful and the tech that assisted was fantastic! Kiki doesn’t always like people but she was snuggling right up to the tech! Very caring staff and it really helped Kiki relax to have caring people

I understand that there has been a supply issue with getting certain vaccines, but the communication on this issue has been disappointing. My partner arrived for an appointment we had scheduled with our cat and was told to come back another time because you didn t have the vaccine our cat needed. Why didn t anyone call us and let us know not to come in? My partner returns a second time and again one of the vaccines was not available. Again no communication on this prior to arrival. What should have been one appointment will now have to be three trips to the vet. If we had been told that the vaccines were not there we could have waited and not had to stress our cat out and take extra time off of work. Please communicate with us more. We really have been very happy with the care we ve received otherwise.

I gave five stars for each category and cannot express enough gratitude toward Dr Polk and your staff. Did note however that on the survey widget the stars did not seem to pick up the clicks but perhaps that s just my computer. Dr Polk saved my puppy s life and I want to make sure there are five stars in every category, thank you.

I have been concerned about the time it takes to get an appointment - I mean, being seen a month or two weeks down the road. I don t want my pet appointments to be as hard to get as my own appointments! More important though is for you to see emergency appointments. I am assuming it is lack of Dr. s and staff and trying to keep costs down (thank you). You are the best I have ever dealt with - thanks.

I do wish someone would have looked at his eye sooner but was ecstatic that he didn t need surgery and am very impressed with you all. It took 40 min. to get someone on the phone (disconnected after the first 20 minutes) and I started calling at 8 am sharp. But overall I am glad I chose this facility to be my vet s office!
