Staff is very caring. Remembers things about us and our pets. Was very caring as this was the first appointment after the loss of our older dog. We love River Trail.

I ll leave a full review on Google, but wow! I am so appreciative of the quick work in for my pet Maggie, her care, and quick turnaround time. I am so appreciative that the Dr also called me directly to review the findings and treatment, as well as staying within the budget I advised I had.

I took my cat in after having issues with her urinating on the floor. Dr. George said he needed to run so tests to see what was going on. He offered to let me leave the cat so I could return to work and pick her up later in the day. About six hours later I got a text from Dr. George saying all the lab work looked good. So he was giving her an injection for inflammation and an injection of antibiotic because he thought it was likely an occult urinary tract infection. I thought it odd that lab work didn t show anything, but I am not knowledgeable about these things. So I trusted his diagnosis. When I arrived to pick her up the person at the front desk told me the bill was over $500! I was shocked. I should have asked for an estimate from the beginning, but it would be appropriate for River Trail and Dr. George to do so as well. I can t think of any business aside from some parts of human healthcare that does not provide an estimate prior to completing work. Even a dentist will give an estimate and get approval for charges. Many doctors offices do the same for items that aren t likely to be covered by insurance. I asked to speak with Dr. George about the charges. It was a very difficult conversation, and it was not handled professionally. In the end I was given my records and told we were not a good fit for each other. I tried to pay for a portion of the services received, but Dr. George was so irate that he would not allow me to make any payment. One more minor thing, when I got home I found that the towel in the crate with my cat was not the towel I brought her in with. I don t really care about getting my towel back, but it must have been disconcerting for my poor cat to have another animal s smell in the crate with her after such a traumatic day.

I think the fees was high for less than a 15 minute appointment.

Best visit to the vet I ever had! I was able to get in the next day and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The Dr was very thorough in explaining everything. This place is amazing!

I appreciated the time Dr. Hooley spent discussing my dogs diagnosis, causes for repeat issues and potential prevention. He was extremely thorough.

I think when something is done that costs extra I should be told not just find a charge that was NEVER discussed Very disappointed….specifically asked if something was part of the exam but I ended up paying extra….

I think we need more cat waiting rooms. :).

We starting coming to River Trail when we had an emergency and our vet couldn t squeeze us in. We have since moved care for that pet and another over to River Trail. Every person we have interacted with has been amazing, helpful and just plain wonderful. I love how much everyone cares about our pups and how easy it is to get what we need.

Thank you for seeing Remington so quickly when he was sick. Also, thank you for calling the next day to follow up on him. That made me feel like you genuinely cared about his well being and comfort. I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful vet.

Dr. Copeland and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful. Lily took to the staff quickly and easily, and I look forward to bringing her back to River Trail.

this was a grooming appointment with Christine. She was happy to modify my pups cut to help her withstand a power outage in my area. She is always the very best. And staff check me in and out quickly and friendly.
