Only thing I will complain about is when you walk in the smell of animal urine is strong every time I have gone to the riverside location. Other than that it s been a great experience.

Dr. Robert’s is great. I wish I had a Md for humans as awesome as he is. I can’t express how genuine and compassionate he is with our girls. He treats them just like they are his, and the level of confidence we have in his care is unsurpassed. We have been with River Trails Animal since they opened and once we got to meet him, there was no one close. For over a decade, he’s take Kim care of our beloved pets. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about this kind man. This company is a great organization and they employ wonderful caring people.

1. I have a dog aggressive 105lb German shepherd and I try to keep him away from others. When I arrived to drop him off for the best care plan, no other dogs were inside. However there was a pit bull outside, whose owners were keeping her separated. Even though I was the only one in there, the desk staff was busy on the phone or doing whatever they do. It would have been nice if I could have gone into a room as we waited. Another dog did come inside and my dog was trying to behave. A vet tech just happened to come out and she could see my dog was having issues trying to keep calm and she quickly ushered us into a room. A great job by her!! 2. I was not told when I picked up my dog that a fecal sample was not obtained; however, I was told on the phone that if I couldn’t bring one with me, they could get one. 3. For leaving my dog there all day, and paying $249 when we all know Southern Ag can do all the vaccines for at least half that, a fecal sample should have been obtained. 4. When I got the print out with medical history, it used to say at the top all the vaccines and when they were last taken and when they are due under the reminders. This time it only showed Bordetella being done today and due date next year, even though lepto and dhhp were also done that same today and even though the rabies is still current neither of those were listed under the reminders. I emailed Rivertrail and still haven’t heard back from that. Honestly, I’m only going there because of Dr Meredith and Dr Caruso, their caring and ability to diagnose. I think the prices have gotten out of hand, the customer service at the desk is so-so (you used to have the same people who knew you and your dogs, but seems like it’s someone new every time), and the way the ‘best care’ plan is pushed is getting ridiculous.

The vets failed to follow up on any lab work. You spend over $300 + and have to call multiple times to try to get any information on your pets.

Dr.Carruso as usual was kind, considerate,compassionate,pro fessional, and wonderful at the same time. I brought my two grandkids and she made that fun amidst the chaos. Whether it is a check up or an emergency, I always want Dr. Carusso in my corner.

Dr. Copeland and her team were phenomenal. She gave me great over the counter options for my dog’s allergies. She was so kind and my dog took to her and her team quickly, which doesn’t always happen for an exam.

Please improve your check-in process. Every time, we have to wait in the lobby for at least 10minutes (sometimes 30+) - with dogs, that’s not always easy. Then we have to wait another ten minutes to see the tech then another ten (at least) to see the dr. Trips always seem to take forever and they always seem to be much more expensive than I would’ve thought. You all are very convenient for us and you do good work - but the long waits on-site and the always expensive pricing have made us ask our friends who they use. The check-in process really is ridiculous. Even for boarding, I have to wait at least ten minutes after checking-in just to drop them off.
