I’ve been taking my animals to Dr. Brown even before she had her new building. She is knowledgeable, friendly, skilled, does not rush her appointments and most importantly she gives me plenty of information that I need to make a wise decision for the care of my animals.

It would seem a little more professional if the reception personnel refrained from talking about their personal lives at the front desk and laughing and giggling. They could discuss behind closed doors and maintain a more professional manner while at their desks.

The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. I moved here two years ago not sure where to bring my dog to and just by chance I found this place and I wouldn t have it any other way. I highly recommend Goose Creek veterinary to my co workers,family and friends. The other day one of the Doctors called me the next day after my dog had blood work to review the results. Next day results from any Dr is hard to come by humans or vets. This just reassured me I made a great choice with Goose Creek veterinary clinic.

I did Wait for a bit for my Friday afternoon appointments, but it was Friday afternoon and people work during the week, so I know that happens from time to time. I don’t love waiting, but I do love that when I have questions and concerns, I have never felt rushed and the staff more than made up for it by not charging me for trimming my dogs claws because I had to wait. I suspect my wait was due to others’ questions and concerns being addressed with the same patience and compassion! I love that the staff always recognizes me immediately and they know my pets. I also LOVE that I had a concern about my dog’s behavior and thought he might have PTSD, Dr. Lerma didn’t think that was the case. He promised to look into it and after a couple of weeks, I had forgotten that I even spoke to him about it. I got a call from him personally (not his tech!) with an apology for the amount of time it took and a diagnosis! I completely understand the amount of time it took, it was an unusual set of symptoms. Then he offered treatment options, and even the cost, which was far less concerning than the potential side effects, but he seemed understanding when I decided not to risk the side effects unless his condition worsened. Working in healthcare and having had a few terrible experiences with vets, I love that he didn’t seem put off or pushy about treatment! I also love that the staff isn’t pushy about vaccines for things I don’t expect my dog to be exposed to! I am a huge fan of vaccines for conditions that may actually be a concern for my pets, but I despise over vaccination! I don’t board my dog, ever, so when I said no to the boardatella vaccines no one tried to tell me how important it is. My dog is a rescue with a rough history and I can’t say enough about the Care and understanding he has received from your team!!! My cat is also a rescue with her own set of quirks and your team is equally amazing with her! Although I don’t have as much to say about that because she isn’t nearly as troublesome as my dog!

The office had an odor they said they had just burnt some skin, and in being seen not happy with charges. 50.00 for an appointment that there wasn t an exam, just test. This use to be a good place, affordable, nice staff, now it s the opposite. The tech wanted to take my pet back for test right when we walked into the exam room. No introduction, nothing, said Dr would see her in the back. Poorly done.

The staff was friendly as usual; however, I am concerned that the technician didn t notice fleas when he was there for a shot. Luckily he had an appointment with the groomer the next day and she told me. I put my pup on Sentinel off the suggestion of your office because I thought it prevented fleas. I was informed after fleas that Sentinel only sterilizes fleas but it doesn t kill them. Why would anyone want that knowing other animals astound could have them and your pet could get them? When I called to say I was coming to get a pill, the receptionist told me the price. I never asked for the price because I didn t care. My only concern was getting rid of the fleas.

Although I very much liked the doctor and staff I was very disappointed in the up charge for the medications. I paid $180 for two meds that I later priced online for $114. I am a single senior woman on a very fixed and not large income and I want to do right by my animals, so it is disconcerting to be overcharged so extremely for my dogs meds. I will probably go back to this clinic, but going forward I will write down what meds are being prescribed and order them on line. If that isn t acceptable then I will probably go elsewhere.

Great appointment; Dr. Brown was right on the money for diagnosing my rabbit s problem; assistant Christine was so very helpful with practical advice. Check-in-and check-out ladies could not have been nicer and more informative. In all, a Most Satisfactory experience, albeit with a hurting bunny, who 2 days of taking the medicine prescribed, seems to be feeling better, i.e. a little more active this evening. NOTE: my numerical ratings did not seem to register; I give all 5 to the questions.
