I am so thankful that you got me in the same day I called but that you listened and never made me feel judged because of my finances nor my really not understanding what I needed to do for Salem. The entire staff was kind and really took the time to go over everything. I did start the food the vet recommended and surprise Salem actually ate it!!! He slept cuddled with me all night and we didn’t have any attacks. ?? I also played a Reiki CD for him. He was use to listening to massage music when I worked. He enjoyed greeting my clients, walking them to the bathroom and then the massage room. After 90 minutes he would sit by the door and meow a couple of times. Our lives changed a year ago when my health got bad and I was in a car accident. Hopefully the music helps him relax and the new food all work to make him feel better. See you October 30th. I came to Family Pet Hospital after searching for a veterinary clinic with a Fear Free Veterinary Certification. They took great care of my 18-year-old cat for the few years that we had her in Longmont and even helped me get her into remission from diabetes her last year of life. They were also extremely compassionate and never rushed when my sweet girl eventually had to be euthanized (she was blind, had end-stage kidney disease, and had stopped eating). And today they were great with my two kittens (4 and 5 months old) and answered all of my questions. This facility and staff are truly Feline Friendly, and I am very happy they are so close by.

Family Pet Hospital and its staff offer the best support for our pets. We started with their first veterinarian and have benefitted from their growth.

It gives me peace of mind to know I can always bring Stewart in and get the best of care whether it be a vaccination or emergency.

A wonderful experience. The vet and tech were both knowledgeable and caring. Explanations were excellent.

I was a little confused. When I called to set up an appointment and get my dog s records from a previous vet, I was told that I needed to get her in for a specific vaccine within 10 days or she would have to go through a series of shots. So, I made an appointment and took her in. When I got there I was told that it was ok to wait until the end of November when the rest of her annual shots were due. I asked about this specific vaccination and was told by the vet assistant that no that could wait until her annual checkup. So, I m waiting and will see if she gets one shot or has to do a series.

When we were asked if we wanted Luna to get the feline leukemia shot, no one told us that a booster had to be done in another four weeks. Had I known that, I might not have opted to give it to her. I just hate exposing her to more stress and visiting the vet is pretty stressful for her (no offense). Also, I find the exam room to be rather sterile... maybe a towel or something on the stainless steel exam table?
