The staff were kind and very professional. There were a lot of clients but the staff took great care of everyone.

I drive all the way from Lawrence, KS not just because Spay and Neuter KC provides pet care that is within my budget but I also trust them with my baby. The staff is really attentive and is very knowledgable. I love what they do for the community and what they have done to help my pets.

I came here last year to get 1 of my rescued dogs vaccinated. After a exceptional experience I subsequently volunteered. Throughout my volunteer experience I noticed a shift in the behavior of the staff. I can tell you this time it was not friendly or customer focused. It was a slow day. It was transactional as if I was a bother. I d pay extra money to feel my dog & I mattered.

Just a suggestion. Everyone at SNKC was friendly and helpful! For first time dog owners like myself, it would be helpful for the staff to quickly show me what the dog s stitches look like post-surgery during pickup. Something like this is the incision, this is the tattoo, the dogs scrotum looks like this now, but should look like such in this many days . It may be time consuming, but 1-2 quick minutes may go a long way in reassuring and/or educating first time dog owners.

The staff there is amazing! I called back a couple of days later with a concern and the lady over the phone was extremely helpful and I didn t feel like I was being rushed through on the phone call. Thank you for all you do!!

Couple things. 1) When I called about neutering kitten, wasn t told about the option of free neutering with all vaccinations. I found out AFTER bringing in for first vaccinations and getting $25 neuter coupon. Since I intend to get cat fully vaccinated, this is costing me $25 more. 2) Got a cat spayed, was given pain meds. When it was time to administer, I had a heck of a time and wasted some meds trying to figure out how to get med into syringe. Would help if this were explained to the person on picking up their animal. 3) Got the Golden package for my adult cat, no one said if/when I need to bring back for more vaccinations--don t know if boosters needed for adults? That info would help. Thanks for all you do for the pet community!

On site and off, the staff of KC Spay and Neuter is amazing! From Checking in and leaving out. I inquired about my pets health and was provided with the first round of meds at no cost. It s just overall loving good vibes. Thanks for all that you do!

Everyone on the staff were helpful, informative, kind just over all wonderful!!! They were awesome!!

Your service and attitude and quality all seemed excellent. I was impressed! However, you should look at the practicality of your pain medicine dosing. I got 2 ml of Gabapentin which is supposed to be 8 doses of .25 ml. I did some testing later and .25 ml is about seven or eight drops out of the syringe. I was giving it to a kitten. I got about 4 doses with just a little extra. The dose is so small and getting it out of the container is imprecise enough that you re just going to lose some. At that small of a dose, it adds up fast. In addition, getting .25 ml accurately with that equipment is not really possible. You re probably looking of a variance of .05 at a minimum. If you really want people to get 8 doses you re going to have to give them more than 2 ml for 8 doses. Would help if the medicine were less concentrated so you could increase the dose size to .5 ml. But, that would mean more liquid to get in a kitten which is probably worse. In any event, if you really think the pets need 8 doses over 4 days, then you need to do something different. Thanks.

I am so very upset that we were turned away at the door because we gave our dog prescription medication four days prior. For something this important, shouldn’t we have been given education weeks prior? Our own vet said she only needs to be off that same medication 24 hours prior to surgery. She is delayed being spayed for another month, is now fully in heat, and it will cost us hundreds of dollars more to go to a private vet for the surgery. Knowing that you provide a community service, we wanted to patronize your business. Now, everyone loses out. I am so disappointed. I wish your clinic would provide care for her. She has such high anxiety that she can’t be off of her medication for two weeks, especially since it’s not necessary according to our vet.

I just wanted to thank you for making it possible for me to neuter my dog. I have just started my career and have been struggling to afford anything. This allowed me to neuter my dog for a cost I could afford.
