I am so happy with my appointment ! It was so easy to make and the staff was lovely. I Also appreciate their flexibility with moving my cat’s appointment sooner. Thank you guys.

The scheduling was a little frustrating because there was nothing available online but when I called they fit us in. The spay and neuter went well (we brought 2 cats) but when I called with a concern with my cat after the neuter, the vet was dismissive. I did not agree and took him to my normal vet and they wound up giving him antibiotics, flushing his wound, and giving adequate aftercare. I understand that this is a low cost program but telling me there is no concern when there’s an open wound with cat litter in it is very bad advice. It’s acceptable to send me to my normal vet I get it but you told me to just ignore it and not clean it or anything and that makes no sense. The pickup process was confusing and I wound up getting skipped in line and the whole process for pickup took way longer than I thought it should’ve. Better instructions for that would also help. I have used pet resource because of their affordable costs to vaccinate my dog. My recent visit was scheduled for a heart worm test $20 and an ear/skin exam $35. During the check in call, the center asked me details about my dogs ear concerns. He had two sores on the tips of both ears and I believed he had an ear infection. I was sincerely disappointed in this visit. My dog was in the center for less than 2minutes and there was no test or further exam outside “visual” looking at my dogs ears. That type of exam should NOT be a part of this center as it is a rip off. I called and asked further details about the exam and was furious that I spent that amount of money for it. I had to take my dog to a clinic and found out he did in fact have an infection and was prescribed antibiotics. Seriously disappointed in this visit and money I had to pay.

Thanks for providing your service at a reasonable price. The wait is worth it.

Staff does a good job, but the wait is insane. We got there a few minutes before our appointed time and still waited two hours and four minutes in line before we were helped. that’s just ridiculous. Waste of time and gas. Need more of an efficient check-in.

Let people know if they will have to stand outside to check in or pay.

I appreciate the cost-friendly vaccines; my only suggestion would be not to offer a vaccine (Lepto) where I need to come back in 3 weeks for a booster as well as can you please go back to offer a full year of flea/tick treatment? Thank you for everything you do!

Staff was helpful, kind and understanding - thank you for doing what y all do & helping provide excellent, affordable care to the community. Extra thanks to the vet tech - I had a hard time communicating and was very stressed but she was calm, kind and non judgemental- handled the cats beautifully. Thank you guys again!!!

You need to be more available by phone. I had questions after my appointment, and it was impossible to get ahold of anyone by phone. It didn t even give me an option to leave a voicemail. Email isn t always the best option for everyone.

I really would recommend PRCKC to anyone who needs service for your bursaries, they are absolutely the best. They handled my Ace with love and care and the staff is very caring and some easy to talk to. 10 outta 10 rating!

I was very impressed how organized and efficient my visit was in getting my dog spayed. She has recovered, so quickly. I appreciated the medications that were sent home for her. It really shows how pets are cared for at Pet Resource Center of Kansas City.
