This is the first time this has happened to me at this vet and I was very disappointed with the service. I came in for my dog s annual visit and wanted to discuss certain things with the veterinarian as my dog had several recent emergency visits. I was never even placed in a room. The vet tech merely took my dog from the waiting room to the back and returned half an hour saying he was ready to go and I could meet her at the front to pay for the visit. I had to ask just to even speak to the vet and even then, the vet just came to the front desk and quickly tried to answer my questions while everyone in the waiting room was privy to the information. I had never been treated that way here and I felt very rushed. I can t imaging anyone would be okay taking their dog to the vet and not even seeing the vet throughout the entire visit.

I really appreciate that you let me drop off my fur babies & then call me to go over the procedures &/or anything else that you do. Between the Vertigo & Claustrophobia MD & DVM appts are a bit unnerving to say the least which makes it hard for me to listen to what you re saying and actually understand what it is I need to do, other than give him the flea meds once a month. Dr. Samek, you ve got some really great people at that office. Be sure to take as good care of them as they do my furbabies. They deserve it.

For the many many years I have taken my dog to Gainesville Animal Hospital West, the staff have always been courteous and professional.

Dr. Fletcher is a gem!

The only thing I am not happy with is the practice of handling and restraint. I always had to get my cats gassed to work on them and when I used to be a vet assistant I got creative. Like putting an E-Collar on a dog or cat and using a towel. I am bringing my dog there still but not my cats. Everything else is great.

I ve been taking pets to GAH for 30 years. The veterinary care is excellent, but I ve experienced numerous snafus from the front desk. Staff needs to follow through and, really, you all should have an electronic system for records access for all branches (nobody faxes stuff anymore!).

Love the vets especially Dr. Samek. Front office staff are also friendly. It has always taken too long to check out.

This is the ONLY place to take your pets. I recommend Gainesville Animal Hospital to everyone with pets.

I loved everything about the care my dog received. My only complaint would be the long times to check in and out. Overall, I was very happy.

When I was checking out and the receptionist went in the back to get my dog s medicine, she left me waiting in the front for at least 10-15 minutes. I finally left a note saying I would come back to pick up the medicine and when I got to my car she came out saying you didn t have the medicine and she had to call another office to get it. She should have come out and told me what was taking so long instead of leaving me waiting that long with an anxious dog on a leash!

Your staff is the best!

Even though we had an appointment just for shots we waited 40 minutes to be seen. Staff is friendly but it appears their paperwork takes longer than the actual visit. Perhaps they could streamline their process.
