You should let owners back into the facilities with their pets, it can be mandatory people wear masks like many other local business and medical facilities.

We had such a great experience with Stones River Veterinary Hospital. All the staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and they will remain our animal healthcare providers as long as we are in Murfreesboro.

When the vet tech, Adam, called me to explain billing and ask if there was anything I needed, he asked if there was anything I needed to tell them about my dog (who was there for a check up and preventative care). I said there was nothing I was concerned about and that I had no complaints. He was very persistent asking if I was sure there was nothing I needed to tell them and that this was the place to complain. Since I couldn t be with my dog or see his demeanor, it scared the daylights out of me as I thought they saw something wrong with my dog. It made me so anxious until the vet called and told me she was looking good. It s a lot harder to make what I m hoping was him just trying to make a joke or lighthearted conversation over the phone, so I would just be cautious how you portray yourself to clients via the phone as it can be offputting.

The delivery of next steps from the (male) doctor were a little harsh could have been delivered better in a constructive way rather than a shaming way.

As far as a clean environment, I was in my car and we don t enter the building. So that part I am unaware of. But as far as the rest I was very pleased.

I was very uncomfortable not being able to go in and stay with my dog during the examination.

After the appt, I had to call back because I forgot to ask the vet tech a question about the appointment. When I called the vet was not available. I was told that I would receive a call back but instead I got an email. I would rather have liked to been called back rather than emailed.

In office appointments would be appreciated soon

We have an older dog that needs special support, which the employee was informed of when she first retrieved him. When she brought him back she carried him by his arms, something no professional should do to any dog regardless of condition, causing him a lot of discomfort and stress. This positioning also almost caused her to drop him near the car. He had just had an anal gland treatment, so I am assuming that was the reason for the handling, but as a professional, especially after being notified of the special needs, he should’ve been handled with much more care.

We asked for Adam as he has helped us with Molly in past issues. Very pleased that he was able to come to the car and get Molly and get her shots and nail trim. Adam is very trustworthy and makes us comfortable when Molly is in the office.

I was very happy with the friendly staff and how easy it was to get in on short notice. I would highly recommend this office!!

I think it’s time to let owners come in with pets. To still be practicing car side visits is a little over kill. Hospitals and outpatient centers are allowing in person visits. Please consider. I want to be present for my new puppy as he is learning to trust me.

Please open up asap so our babies will not have to go in alone

Everything else is good, but the way the handlers come out to my car to take my anxious cat’s pet carrier is careless. They swing his carrier back and forth, one of them even closed my car door on the carrier, probably in a rush. How do you even let that happen? I’m not a pro, but I think it makes sense to request the most basic forms of respect for an anxious animal.

Sometimes the comments staff make regarding services comes off a little harsh/judgmental. For example, if my pet has not been seen at your practice for a couple of years it is possible the pet moved out of town and was receiving these preventative, optional services elsewhere. There have been comments about how LONG OVERDUE a procedure was due to the only record in the office dating from a couple of years back. A different approach when discussing the health of a pet would be nice given that people and their pets relocate and a service that may appear over due in YOUR system is in fact up to date. This is why communication is key and the chance of maintaining an open door policy for discussion of an owner’s pet’s health is diminished when judgement is sensed. Overall, the value and services are worth my loyalty to this clinic while I remain the area.
