Stones River Veterinary Hospital is such a blessing. I am new to the area and had not gotten set up with a Vet yet and when my dog had gotten sick they saw him right away. It was so nice to be able to walk in with my dog and get seen right away. Due to work I have traveled quite a bit over the years and honestly-this was the best experience I have had and I have seen many Vet s with my pets. I loved how kind, caring, and compassionate every one was. I love the thoroughness, quality time we received, and the cleanliness of the facility and team members. We will be back...and have all ready begun to share our wonderful experience to others. ~Thank you! The only down side to our visit was that my little guy was so sick that it was best for him to be watched over night so I had to take him to another location. If there was one thing I could have changed about my experience it would have been to be able to have him stay over night at Stone River. Just curious if anyone has thought about having an on call Dr. for in house patients that need to stay over night.

Our dog was scheduled for a second shot, but the bill was $127? I would suggest that the tech fully explain what options are available before scheduling a full examination, fecal exam, etc. The tech basically said so I have your puppy scheduled for ----- without asking specifically if I wanted the procedures or fecal exam. I cannot afford visits like that where a shot is scheduled but the add on s are conveniently included without an appropriate explanation. When the next shot is scheduled in a few weeks, I will be asking for the shot only. I am not a happy camper right now.

All the staff are very knowledgeable and compassionate. They have taken really great care of our fur babies and of us, particularly during Molly s ailments and after her loss. We re thankful to be part of the Stones River Vet family!

Wasn t really told what they thought caused the limping and it wasn t clear how long to give medication. That should have been on the bottle along with saying it. If they did say it, I don t remember. Overall, very please with the service.

I didn’t have billing or costs explained to me before having items completed, however I also didn’t ask. The prices seemed reasonable although I don’t have anything to compare them to. I did appreciate getting a new puppy kit that included first doses of heart guard and flea and tick treatment at no cost. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly! I felt like they took the time to make sure I was well informed and had all my questions resolved before I left. I felt like I was treated like family from the phone call to schedule my appointment to walking out the door after my visit. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a vet.

A grade of 5 for all items. Kristen was especially helpful in taking care of my cat (Charlie) cut his nails, applied anti-flea medication, and explained ways to reduce his weight (changing feeding patterns). All staff treated me with courtesy (I intended to drop off my cat but Kristen was able to get the work done quickly). I ll be back with another cat soon. Great job. Mark
