The vet tech who took care of us that day was Amazing!! She’s great with the animals and their humans.

Their kindness was appreciated as we said goodbye to our girl. She lived 16 1/2 years thanks to the great care she had.

Everyone here is so nice and understanding. You guys are great to work with and really make me feel safe to leave Max with you. Steffany is a great tech and made Max feel better about being there, he really liked her last time we went.

Sophia boarded at clinic (for the second time in 3 years). She is a rescue. Because of all the vet tech s expertise, Sophia was calm, happy to see her vet tech friends, and content when I left. AMAZING! Thank you.

Great staff, friendly & knowledgeable.

Overall, I was satisfied with services for my dog, Blu. But, when I tried to get help for him, no one called me back to discuss what had happened, how was he doing, etc. I called at approximately 7:50 am on 7/15/2022 to Dr. Berger s office to report that I accidently ran over my dog with my car. By 9:10 am, I still had not heard for the vet s office. I called Dr. Berger s office and was told that he was out of the office and that I needed to call another vet in Rolla. Sorry, I don t remember the vets name, but it was someone that was helping Dr. Berger. When I called, I was questioned how I got the vet s name and phone number. I was told by the person answering the phone that I should have not placed a call since that should have been a referral from Dr. Berger s office. I apologized and asked if the vet could see my dog. I was told no and that I had the options of taking Blu to St. Louis or Columbia. The receptionist then said that I could call Dr. Chitwood to see if he could see Blu. I called Dr. Chitwood s office and the staff was very supportive to me and was told that I could bring Blu in now and that the doctor would see him at 3:30 pm and talk with me then. I felt as if I spoke with someone who cared about my dog-I can t remember his name, but really appreciate his understanding. This was a very emotional time for me and I did not feel supportive. I feel like the on-call service could use improvement-More timely response

Absolutely awesome atmosphere, the doctor was so nice. The nurse made my tough decision so much easier by telling me there s no right or wrong decision. I will forever be taking all my pets to St James vet!

The staff at the clinic are always very knowledgeable about the situations going on with my animals and always willing to help. Kaitlin up front was very helpful with information about flea and tick prevention as well as heartworm protection. The ladies up front are always so nice. It is always a welcoming feeling coming into their smiling faces!

Great service and the doctor was very helpful on my pets concerns. Would recommend him to my friends.

Best vet experience ever! The veterinarian and the technician, Stephanie, absolutely showed so much affection and compassion to my Lucy dog; plus, they made her feel so much better. This was the first visit she accepted treats from the physicians crew.

I have a special needs pet and the staff is always so kind to me and Hines. His bi-monthly vet visits are critical to his hygiene and quality of life and I am forever grateful your team has been able to provide this service. Hines loves the staff and his car ride to his appointments!

Five Stars! I was very impressed with my first visit with my little boy Brody. The receptionists were extremely nice and got us right in. We were taken back right at our appt. time, no delay at all. The vet assistant and the vet were both very informative and gave me great information for my new little pup. I will absolutely keep using St. James Vet Medical Center!
