Long wait - >45 min and then rushed visit. Staff could have slowed down and spent more time and patience getting to know Bani. Their direct eye contact and hurried handling made My GS pup nervous. The staff criticized her lack of training and recommended Dog Boys. I would reverse that and suggest that staff get more training - maybe some RCT and breed specific training - so they’ll know better how to approach and handle new clients. Also prefer answers from vet not tech regarding surgery options. Y’all come highly recommended so would like to give it a second chance. Also maybe a more experienced vet would be a better fit. When my beloved Ari passed away the staff were so kind and loving at a time when I desperately needed it. They followed up with a condolence card all signed by the staff and Ari s vet Dr. Kristen Turner. This is the reason I have returned with my new dog Abi. It would be great if when checking out, the staff could make it a standard practice to ask if the patient has pet insurance and offer to submit it without the pet owner having to ask for it every time.

The staff was friendly and courteous. I was referred to Sarah Miller and am pleased with her demeanor and overall care as a vet.

My only suggestion would be that if you mention the dog(s) need a fecal, that we will be charged regardless, and we are 100% responsible for doing the work related to that fecal. In the “old days” vet clinics stuck a utensil into the dog to retrieve the sample, whereas today, the client is 100% responsible for retrieving (no pun intended) the fecal sample, and will be charged regardless. I’m not loving that process. Just my two cents. Also, if dogs are geriatric, maybe consider refraining from automatically recommending vaccines, etc. Consider the age of the dog and the veterinarian’s conservative, holistic view - and try to match recommendations to the veterinarian’s preference. PS - Y’all are AWESOME and we love being clients of yours.

Dr. Lembert and John were very helpful with the care of our bunny, Trixie. Having a sick fur baby is stressful. They made a “scary” and “unknown” situation less stressful by taking time to explain all possibilities, procedures, steps, and medications. Thank you!

We love Dr. Turner! She’s so great and helpful. Dr. Turner was assisted by Julio at our visit and he was wonderful too (all of the White Rock staff is wonderful!)

You ve got the booking and check in process down to a science. I loved being able to pay while still in the room. That made the visit so much faster without sacrificing care.

John was fantastic and Dr. Miller was very knowledgeable. I first started coming to White Rock with a foster dog. Then I visited with a sick ferret. I’m impressed consistently and I’ll definitely be coming to White Rock with all of my pets now!! Thank you to all for providing such quality care!

For the billing - the prices for each item were told to me but not a total, which would have been helpful. I did like that I could pay inside the exam room and leave.
