We have been taking our dog nacho to Lakeshore Animal Clinic for about 4 years and the service has been exceptional, great doctors, great assistants , great location. we are really happy and so is our dog ???? Thanks Hoffart’s family

I don’t know if this survey is anonymous or not. However I feel it would be important share regardless. Trust is very important to me. Pereonally, trust determines whether I go to other establishments as well. Such as dentists and clinics. With the amount of money I had to spend, and will potentially spend in the future, trust is the biggest factor in deciding whether to come back or not. Often it feels like the treatments that are recommended and the products that get suggested to improve the health of my pet seem overwhelming and I’m often skeptical of the amount of money that vets seem to “suggest” I spend at their establishments. Please make efforts to be transparent with recommendations and take time to explain the importance of products. Otherwise it can feel like products are just being “thrown” in to the mix and without really understanding its purpose it feels like a “money grab”. Thank you for reading my comments

The office was nice, the staff were friendly and the doctor was very good and I felt like my little Stanley was in great hands.

Costs should be discussed before procedures or treatments are undertaken.

The professionals made my son feel very welcome and listened to his concerns about his cat Rosie. She is very special to him. The student did well and made us all feel at ease. The Dr then added to the students assessment. I believe we were given good advice and treated well. Thank you.

waited over 30 mins to see the vet and saw a student for most of appt with vet coming in for last 5 mins, pool of water and something else on the floor and couch in the exam room

My only comment about question #2 wasn t really the staff s fault I suppose, it would have bene helpful to have another staff member available - a previous customer took so long getting the information they needed. They were entitled to getting their information but we got in to our appointment late because of it and I wasn t able to check in during that experience. No communication from the staff member was given, as in I ll be with you in a moment. or a non-verbal gesture. So, another staff member would be very helpful.

I felt a little taken advantage of. The vet assistant showed up with a bag a meds at 50$ a piece, no discussion on why and if my dog needed a oral steroid, a steroid cream and steroid drops, just hey so this is what your going to do and oh by these how would you like to pay for that then thanx for the 700$ see you again soon. More control over the billing process along with a choice on if I would like to purchase a medication would be helpful in controlling costs. I love my dog but I was not in a position to be paying that much. Which will make me hesitant the next time he needs a vet

Prices are a little high in comparison to other vets.

The Staff and Vets at Lakeshore Animal Clinic are amazing. They operate so professionally and do so with such empathy and consideration I feel like I m dealing with old friends. I ve checked around and the prices are more than competitive and their compassion is priceless!

Everything was very good, took care of my doggie who was distressed very fast and made suggestions to help her health. Very kind and caring vet and staff. I was behind in my care of my pet but I am so happy they suggested up to date vaccines, proper grooming of nails, medication to calm her down and ease her separation anxiety, prevention of parasites.
