The vet was very nice ( Dr Schroeder). She handled my dog as if he was hers.

My dogs love coming there, and I feel like we are in good hands at your business. We have seen a few different doctors and everyone has always been great. My only complaint would be actually getting an appointment nowadays. We understand we can’t always get in the same day, but if there is an emergency, being seen a week or two later is no help. We really don’t want to find a new vet, but our dogs are getting older and if we can never get them in for emergency’s we might have to make a switch. Hoping you get more doctors ????

I would like to know if you do payments as iam on a fixed income

No problem getting an appointment that can be scheduled weeks in advance for routine care. However, in the past I have had trouble getting an appointment when something goes wrong with my dog s health like an injury or ear infection. Since these are not issues that can wait two weeks for an appointment I ve often had to go to the 24/7 hospital for issues that could have been dealt with by my regular vet, and I have found that very frustrating. I appreciate that this time when I called about an injury I was able to get an appointment the same day. I don t know if it was luck or better management such that same day visits can be accommodated, but I did really appreciate having my pet seen even though the acute care visit costs are fairly high.

I called on Friday AM concerning a growth on my dog s lower eyelid. I was able to get in that day, agreed with my concern and scheduled non-emergency surgery for the next week. Yes, very pleased with West Side Animal Hospital!
