I wouldn t have my fur babies go anywhere else

The care for my pet and the service was an incredible experience, and I would recommend people to go here.

The vet wasn’t very friendly and I didn’t feel very comfortable with her, I’d recommend being more personable to help clients feel better and know that their baby is in good hands. Also she seemed to have trouble handling my ferrets due to her long nails.

The only thing I would suggest is creating an app where clients can see the results and pet history/chart and are able to communicate in that way aswell.

My dog is an anxious mess at the vet. Since moving to Philly this is the only place we have felt comfortable and supported. Thank you 2nd Street Animal Hospital!

Love Dr Weis and the entire staff. It doesn t get any better than this. The care they give to their clients is like no other. I won t go to any other veterinarian.

Since day one I have never had a issue with this clinic. They are very responsive to my emails. Buster is treated very well when he is there for a check up.

We were thrown numbers at every step to ensure we were okay paying for things before really discussing what the options even were. We agreed to having a culture done and we’re told they you would call us within a week. It’s now been over two weeks and no contact about the culture or steps forward with our pet. Amazing service , friendly faces

Overall, I always have a great experience at 2nd Street. One suggestion I have is to make sure that staff double check to make sure they are referencing the correct animals record since I had a mixup once. Also, it would be great if more natural solutions were provided for pet care in addition to medications and etc…

I wasn t told how much I would have to pay before I checked out my animal, but I knew roughly how much it was gonna be given that it was just a preventative visit and he didn t have any problems.

Dr. Tyson and the nurses were AMAZING! I plan to come, specifically for her. I know she was a smidge delayed, so I would appreciate a shorter wait. However, her thoroughness with Dolly made up for it.

I would have liked to have known the surgeon s availability prior to making my initial appointment. If I had known that I wouldn t be able to get surgery for another week and a half after the initial appointment, I might have tried to see if I could get a sooner appointment elsewhere. It didn t feel right to me that I was told the surgeon s schedule only after spending $80 to confirm what I already knew (my pet had a tumor that needed to be operated on as soon as possible). I understand that the initial evaluation is an important step in the process and that it can t be skipped, but some more transparency would have enabled me to make a better decision for my pet s health. I was otherwise very happy with my experience.
